I just plugged those hands into a poker calculator and you had about 16% equity. Ironically you do even better if one opp had AA and another had AK (18%).
The pot has $3.64, I think. You need to call for your last $1.70. So that's about 2-1 odds or a little more, 2.1-1. Knowing what the hands are, the odds aren't good enough.
Of course you didn't know it was AA and J9 at the time. If you plug in a range of AA, KK, JJ, TT, AKs, AQs, AKo then your Queens actually have a slight advantage.
I agree with you though, that based upon the action it sure is likely that one of the opponents has you beat. I think it was a good, disciplined fold. No reason to get involved in a multiway race in which you may have the worst end of. This isn't a rebuy tournament, this is a cash game.
I may get all in pre-flop with Queens from time to time but usually I am the one pushing the action, not calling someone else's pre-flop all-in, exceptions for tilted maniacs and short stackers.
