---

I know after the flop that he probably had a T, but my kicker was good. I was only afraid he hit a fullhouse. Was the river call good or bad? I was close to 25% equity to call the all-in; I thought we could split the pot.

According to Equilab, if his range is a T with anything else, I got 67% equity.

But he is going all-in...

don't limp/complete from SB. Raise or fold. Mark V as fish. AP, cooler, nothing to do.

Against a fish, I'd 4-bet-shove otF. He's calling with any T and maybe even with a 7. We practically have the nuts here.

Hello OP,

I have a personal question - do you secretly openly worship the devil?

AP: it's well played, standard cooler. I disagree with shiving flop unless you've a read on this gentleman - you want to keep his draws/ pocket pairs/ overs in, not blow them out.

1-I'm not playing anything from the SB that I'm not raising pre. SB is the worst position to be in at a table. If you don't raise, how do you start to define V's range?

I should have read it more closely. Fold to the raise and call. You don't have any sort of range advantage, and are out of position with a mediocre hand.

The mistake in this hand was made by calling after the BB raised and UTG+1 called. I am folding this 95%+ of the time. I don't think anything else that happened is relevant.

For the most part I agree with you, being OOP with a mediocre hand isn't great and you should mostly fold pre in that spot. There are exceptions though - for instance you have intel on your V that they get fit or fold on later streets, in which case you can (occasionally) just flat their late position opens & C-bets (as a float) with any two and just bomb favorable turns.
