I read this article in 2plus2 "https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/218/winning-poker-network/curious-how-many-people-beating-small-stakes-acr-1694582/" and it said they can't win at micros on acr. is the same for pokerstars and 888? i really need to know because my confidence is not good when i play micros and it can cost me ev. any help would be appreciated

Yes, 2nl is beatable. So are 5nl, 10nl and all the rest of the micro level stakes. That being said it takes work to go from beginner level to beating even 2nl. It then takes more work to progress up through the ranks. There's a lot of good, free information out there and it's been making the games progressively more challenging.

I play poker in a home game with friends every so often. A few of them would consider themselves to be decent players but in reality they're just better than the very worst players in the game. None of them would beat 2nl but then again none of them think about poker apart from when they're playing that home game.

What I'm trying to say is that 2nl is absolutely beatable but it's not the joke that some people make it out to be.

Well the article mentioned in the original post of that thread for some guy who was 40 tabling 25nl, 50nl and 100nl but was doing so purely to win some RakeBack tournament. That's not really playing poker to be honest. It actually sounds like hell.

Not sure where you're getting the "2nl is unbeatable" opinion from but it most certainly is.
