PokerStars, Hold'em No Limit - $0.01/$0.02 - 7 players

UTG: $1.97 (99 bb)
MP: $1.13 (57 bb)
MP+1: $3.84 (192 bb)
CO (Hero): $2.06 (103 bb)
BU: $1.82 (91 bb) (VPIP 15, PFR 4,6)
SB: $3.70 (185 bb)
BB: $1.11 (56 bb) (VPIP 42, PFR 1.5)

Pre-Flop: ($0.03) Hero is CO with K A
3 players fold, Hero raises to $0.05, BTN calls $0.05, 1 fold, BB calls $0.03

Flop: ($0.16) K 8 A (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.12, 2 players fold

I'm uncertain about this c-bet. It feels like T2P suddenly becomes a light c-bet, but if a flop is soaking like this one, should we c-bet light with T2P?

I don't see us being called by worse, so it's definitely not a value bet.

These players will probably chase with every club, and will call 3 streets with any two clubs. Is it correct to say that at least one of them will have a club ca. 50% (BU: 25% + BB: 25%) of the time, even a little less because there are only 9 more in the deck? This would make this a terrible light c-bet.

IMO, the bets fine, precisely because they will call with any club or Ax so I'd give them bad odds to call (2/3 pot maybe). If they check raised or flatted on the flop I'd proceed with caution though and I'd be seeing if they donked or checked the turn and take it from there. A lot of the micros just give up with a board like that I've found so even if you didn't bet you aren't going to win anymore anyway if they don't have anything.

This may be bad advice, apologies if so. Still learning myself haha

you can bet quite big here. I would actually like a full pot size bet. Even like 2bb more than pot size could be good. you are pretty much happy with a call, fold and even a raise isn't bad for you here
