You took a stab at it on the flop. You were called. Any potential drawing hands got there on the turn. I can't think of anything that you're beating so check/folding is fine.

Re: 2nl - 88 multiway pot

Define V's fishiness better. Is he the aggro none folding type, the passive call call type, fit or fold or maniac (I had one passive fish the other day call down with KQ when I bet flop off kk7 checked turn of 7 then bet river of Q with quite a bit of cash behind, WTF?)

Best case scenario is an aggro none fold type. I love these guys to be honest. Against this type at 2NL once he's called the CB I'm checking to induce and calling down barring very few river cards.

Against any type of passive player I'm folding. Drawing to two outs even though the pot odds are great and since they're generally passive implied odds go up isn't good long term.

Against a manic caller/raiser aggro donk I'm treating this as the nuts and calling, checking river, coming over any bet.

The two that involve calling down are high variance. High variance play isn't something that's necessary at the micros but I enjoy getting involved here so it's my style. I'm generally up against them but I've had sessions when my stack has been up over 400bb and down into minus figures again.

This is close either way and you'll be given plenty of chances against this type of player. So folding now when you're confused about what to do is fine. You'll most likely get paid off/stack them at a future date. If not one of his fishy friends will take his place.
