Bad call yes. Villain is not doing this with almost any hand for value that you beat.

The PF range won't include many 5's or 64 and the 77 and 33 pp's make up a small part of his opening range. This doesn't mean he won't have them and the action indicates strength.

At best we are hoping that he is shoving a flush draw on a paired board which would still have decent equity against us.

Just fold.

tbh this is where I have leaked a lot of money in the past (and still struggle with). The villain is a complete whale, but he is calling too many hands out of the BB. We can say : villain should not be defending a lot of 5x in the BB, but villain doesn't know not to defend those hands. I have gotten a lot more careful about making big calls on these types of boards without a very specific read on an opponent as it seems like it's 5x 95% of the time(or 64, or 7s full, or even 3s full) and like a random stubborn 7x or a flush draw like 5% of the time.

Flop, I like your c-bet, this is a great board for us. Sizing seems good. turn we might just go ahead and check behind, we are actually in really good shape against a lot of hands, and we can pot control a little bit. Will BB have A6 and catch a 4 or an ace sometimes to win? Sometimes. Will HJ have QJ and outdraw us with a higher pair sometimes? Of course. But, we got called on this board, either player can have a 5, and the 3 does complete one of the open enders on the flop. If we check, they might bluff a river that doesn't improve them with a hand that isn't a 5, straight, or a boat, or make a thin value bet with a 7 that we can pick off. This might be a little generous considering they are both pretty loose passive, but I think that there is an advantage to keeping ranges a little wide here. We are multi way, and we are not at top of range with 99, we can try to play a 2 street game with this hand.
