So it's ignition so no real reads. First 3ish orbits and I've been smacked with the deck. I'm playing about 50% of hands. No big reads on villain seems like a standard Tagish typer person. But again 20ish hands in.

Crazy river bet. Super polarizing and I'm not sure if I would expect people to do this w/ a Q high flush.

Correct, no tracking software also notes don't carry forward to future sessions. So making notes for "long term" is useless.

That said I know there are people who use tracking software and huds, but even then it's only good for the specific session as there are no unique player IDs. Just seat 1-9. So doing this only gives you data from the current session.

I'm a fold. You have trips. flush as well as AK to worry about.

If AQ is a fold then jamming AK (non-flush) is completely torching money. I feel trips are the same thought.

0% chance villains range is merged here. It's either a flush or I'm good. The question is would he do this with J high flush, or even Q high?

So you can't even make notes on specific players on Ignition because you don't know who they are?

Re the specific hand - you're losing to way too much to contemplate calling. I suppose he may be bluffing with his missed straight draw (KQ/KJ) but that seems unlikely, esp at NL25.

What non-flush hands do I lose to that shove river here?

Doesn't his shove severely narrow his range? I mean on turn his range is wide and there are numerous value hands I lose to. But once he shoves river don't all of those value hands like AK, AT, 55, drop out of his range?

I just felt at the time it was much closer that it looked on paper.

Essentially I need to be good 43% of the time here to make the call profitable. I don't quite know if I'm good that often, but was curious if he polarized his range so much that we might be cracking that 43% range (specially when we hold the Ad).

This is another reason why i think it's a fold. i don't think this is a bluff 50 per cent of the time, especially at micro stakes.

Guess I got lucky. I called and he had 44

snap fold we hold the Ad which is a card he might use to bluff with, also we dont need to defend much vs such a large sizing. I would just call with my flushes here

Holding the Ad make this closer to a call than if we didn't have Ad

When the flush gets there we want to have blockers to the flush.
