    Villain: 18/13/5af/33%steal

Assumed villains range was 22+, most broadways pre-flop after he calls 3bet.
Flop hits the broadway part of his range. Hence check, assuming he would call a bet with Tx, Qx

I just called villain's bet ott thinking only better calls a raise. Also possible str8/flush/two pair on the board

    Should I call the river?

    Any comments. Thanks.

Raise a little bit more pre-flop.

    Fold the river.

preflop is fine. bet sizing is very hard and very few people will be able to give you any solid advice.

Rivers just a poker stove question. But I'm not folding with pretty close to the tip top of my range on this river.

Villian's fold3bet stat. I wold be raising bigger here, we offer good odds for villian to continue with drawing hands and such, prob about Ł2.5.

I am folding river, villian has a flush or 2pr.

Why arent we folding turn? Sure we hit top pair with top kicker but that turn card hits every draw out there. If he had J9 to start were drawing thin on the flop. It he had a Ax hand he could have made 2 pair or even a Flush. And with the turn card what is really going to come thats going to make us fold river that we dont fold with a turn card like that. The 4s is a brick of a brick. If we called thinking we were ahead on the turn unless we put villan on A4 how can we think were not ahead still? I think we should fold on the turn. Other then a J or a k I think were behind on the turn most of the time. If your willing to call a very cordinated turn i think you have to call when the brick 4s comes.

My adivce fold the turn. Really what are we ahead of here when he bets out.

we should be calling turn...river is close because we have a bunch of Ax when we checkback flop and call turn and villain is barreling hard anyway. I think I lean towards folding river but gameflow and villain history (if any) matter a bunch. Either way, like I said, it's pretty close and I hate folding. Our aces are not broadway aces often with this line though, which might be why villain is doubling. Most people would expect us to bet AJ/AK on this flop.

Preflop is fine, 8x or 9x or 10x, all works. If you 3bet a lot and 3bet linear range I think making the raise size smaller is good. Even if he calls you with "drawing" hands (lol), it's not like he's gonna hit the nuts every single time.

I think this is just a bet on the flop. Turn probably a check and call river depending on run out. Or even bet river if he checks.

Either way I think betting flop is better than checking because our range really does hit the board. I mean, AK in this case is like one of the best non nut hands that's close to the top.

    Thanks for advice people.

I called and he had KTs for the flush.

I think I should have folded as there wasn't much I was beating. But as teppec said I wasn't repping a strong ace by checking otf, so he might have doubled a weaker ace. But as you all said/implied probably a fold otr, but close. So at least I know it wasn't a complete balls up

In theory pre-flop sizing is fine but at these stakes and esp. FR - it's not.
Flop is a mandatory cbet - you have equity, you might have the best hand and you cant stand any pressure on later streets once checked back if you dont hit. Your range hits this board harder than his anyway as your range is way stronger to begin with.
River is w/e, we don't have enough info but I still call as we're at pretty much top of our range as we're not really perceived to check back AK on that board.
