i voted barrel, but we proapbly check king no kicker as well as hand like this to valuebet/bluff later, qt and 45, a4, a5 are better barrels

Both actions seem playable. Draws that have some showdown value are often checked on the turn. ATo certainly doesn't mind seeing a free river card.

We're almost certainly overdoing it if we go 150% pot here with all our SDs and QT/T9 should be barrelled at a higher frequency than AT/AQ due to worse SDV and more outs when behind (in QTs case).

+1. We have all the QTo, Q9o, T9o and if you bet all of these you can check back AT. Also you have all the A5/A4o to barrel ott.

+2. Been studying turn OB spots and this is the general trend.

And from what I remember, ATo is a much higher check than I would have expected. We have weaker SDV ones to bluff, and if we do bluff A high gutshots here, we prefer AQo since we have more equity vs BB's calling range. ATo is one of the worst if not the worst gutshot hand to barrel ott.

Also if you barrel ATo here you fold out a ton of BB's weaker Ax you can cooler on an A river. BB wont bluff his A high otr either for the most part so you want to keep his dominated Ax in. If an A comes otr, you are getting another bet in and always getting called.

Yeah but population in bb:s spot will overfold in this spot vs turn OB.

Also don't agree we only have to OB if we don't check. Same reason as above. We don't have to play theoretical if other plays get the same or better result in practice.

Ok, my solve says this is a 100% check.

However, I imagine if you removed total arse like Q5s, T5s, 78s and 84s from your OB range (because nae **** will ever replicate these frequencies), then betting all your offsuit gutshots is going to capture about the same EV imo.

Also, as Swedishmonkey noted, perfect gto Pio defends a turn OB with all Jx and 88-TT, which a human almost never will in this spot. So if real-life villain overfolds we can and should expand our betting range. I still lean towards bet.

People probably aren't defending per Pio's recommendations, because hardly anyone has enough bluffs when they OB.
