I meet similar villains who play in this style over at 10NL, so I'm looking for some sage advice on how to deal with these villain, for instance:

Villain stats are over 1.6k hands

Preflop
14/10, 3 bet 7.4% (6% on SB and BB)

Flop
Cbet Flop/Turn/River 48/15/-
Fold to cbet Flop/Turn/River 65/40/-
Raise Cbet 18%

Hand 1 and hand 2 as below happened within a short time period. When Hand 1 happened, I felt I played QQ really badly, shoving a 3 better at his 3bet range may turn out to be a coin flip most of the time...but I chickened out somewhat and elected to call/fold the flop.

Hand 2 was where I was trying to play back with 44, I had a sneaky feeling that he CR flop with something like a flush draw or middle pair with flush draw or just air...I was leaning on shoving but somewhat felt it was probably too light and elected to fold instead.

What do you think of my play in these 2 hands, and how do you deal with players like these as you move up?

h1 nh, calling is better since you breakeven shoving vs ak+,qq+ and its pretty easy to see that you will profit calling vs that same range. The relevant stat here is 3b vs MP and it will rarely be high enough even with more aggro 3bettors. H2 fold pre, ap check flop since you have poor equity when behind, vs less aggro, super straightforward tagfish it is feasible to barrel your stack although I do not recommend trying that out. He will c/c a lot here with Tx weak Kx jj-QQ so you will rarely be able to get him off his hand with one stab. Shoving is bad because he is probably qq+,Ak and a couple bluffs best case scenario so the only hands that he plays this way is ak, aa, kk, good draws and maybe gutshots with AQ but do you really think off the top of your head that he has >50% bluffs with his preflop range, the board, and his action?

Hand 1 is fine. Even though he's 3betting wide from the blinds his 4betting range will be a lot tighter and that flop hammered it.

Hand 2. I don't think it's profitable to call big 3bets from people with wide 3betting ranges with baby pairs so I'd fold to the 3bet. In the long run it's going to be very hard for you to win money in that spot.

btw the relevant stats would be c-bet in 3bet pot which often vary from regular c-bet stats.

Aside: you don't see too many 14/10's with 7% 3bets. His opening range must be extremely narrow.
