This is really difficult to answer without having an idea of how he plays postflop. I think that against the typical fish here leading out is the best because the majority of his range is 3x/8x/Jx (Qx probably raises the flop) and if he has T9 he will come over the top and probably pay you off. He checks behind too frequently with this range for a check/raise to be better.

Impossible to answer without a description. I either bet like 220 or 350.

It is in my game. I saw you advocate raising QJ from the BB in another thread, which is also non-standard IMO.

I don't feel any need to bloat pots OOP with Ax, esp against fish who don't mind bloating pots postflop.

I would say raising QJ OOP is very standard while raising A5 is definitely not.

I don't raise either of them as my standard in cash.

there is no standard for raising out of the BB here TBH, but QJ type hands are as close as you could get to doing it against "most" opponents. Truth is you are unpaired and out of position and you have to consider this opponent. I knew he would call and screw around post flop so I had to be careful here. If you make it 120 or whatever with A5s and you miss you will have to bluff at it and prolly against villian u lose more $.
