For those who visit
Laughs or Links! semi-regularly, it should not be news that
Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende!! (Downtown's I'm Not An Errand Boy!) has become popular on You Tube and has been linked here often.
The owarai (Japanese comedy) group of Downtown, Masatoshi Hamada and Hitoshi Matsumoto, along with their co-stars Shozo Endo, Tanaka Naoiki (together known as Coq au Rico) and Hosei Yamasaki have developed a good following outside of Japan due to their violent comedy, especailly the "No Laughing" games.
Unfortunately, a lot of their You Tube videos have been taken down. It appears that may benefit us in the long run, though. Hulu.com is now hosting Gaki videos. Presumably, they've got a deal which should get plenty of Gaki material officially available.
In the meantime, there are some ambitious online folks who are translating the show unofficially. It's just a matter of finding them when they aren't easily accessible on You Tube.
Most of the links below will be familiar to some of you. However, I doubt many have seen this first batch- the "No Laughing Hospital" game which aired just over a year ago in Japan.

At this point, the No Laughing Hospital series is only about halfway complete. However, the translator has been very reliable at putting up a new part about every five days. So, the series should be completely translated in 1-2 months. In the meantime, the above links are 1 hour and 40 minutes of hilarity.
GAKI on Hulu is currently offering two classic series.
I highly reccomend the "24-Hour Tag" to anybody who hasn't already seen it. It was my first long exposure to the show and a great example of how outrageous their stuff can get. The second series, "Yamasaki vs. Moriman" is a series of fights between one of the Gaki cast and a female comedian named Moriman. They fight in a wrestling ring but use a large # of comedy props for laughs. The running gag will become obvious quickly but I enjoyed it to the end.
You Tube links aren't reliable for very long. Eventually, they will be taken down. But, they'll be replaced shortly afterwards. A You Tube search for "Gaki sub" will usually get you to English subbed videos.
No Laughing High School, part 1 (of 15)
I'm sure many of you have seen this series. It may be the best they've produced. It has a total of 15 parts. To see the rest, simply click the links in the "More From:" or "Related "Videos" collumn (or search the poster's videos).
Silent Libary, part 1 (of 7)
These are great. Random chance decides which of the five cast members and a guest get a cruel and usually hilarious punishment in a public library.
