Last weekend i donked better than i ever have before. I was playing a $5 cash game with my gf and some friends in my college dorm. My one friend throws out a 5x raise to 50c and the huge calling station calls and so do I with J8. Flop comes A89 and my LAG friend throws out a 75c bet automatically. The calling station calls and I decide to go all in and try to pick it up. LAG folds with about 50c left behind him and the calling station calls. I hope he's on a draw but he turns over AA. I get ready to give him my chips and my friend turns over the next card which is an 8. River is also and 8. DONKED! My gf said she liked how it made me happy to donk someone so bad. I've played millions of hands online I'm sure and i don't think I've donked that hard before.
Then last night we got back from a concert and were hanging out in my room with the poker table and chips still out and trying to figure out what to do for the rest of the night. Puddle of Mud is amazing live btw. My friend walks in and asks if we want to go drink because he had a hotel room for the night. He also saw the poker chips and asked if we can bring those and play a bit. It was a pretty good game but we didn't wager anything. I was surprised at how many poker terms my gf is catching onto. It makes me happy when she says "Yay! i got a walk" or "I got donked!" and her favorite one is having the nutz.
So a few 40s later it gets down to 3 people. My girlfriend me and my friend. My friend had to pee again so i asked my gf if she minded if i stacked the deck and she said no. I'd never do this if it was for $ or anything but since it was just for a good time i thought it would be a fun way to end it since it was getting about that time. So i stacked it so he was dealt AA i had 72 and she had 33. I went all in pre-flop and told her to also when he got back. Flop was A33 last 2 cards were rags. I was pretty proud of still being able to set this up while being impaired. After the poker game my gf and I walked to village in since she was craving some strawberry crepes. Think it was the first time I saw them bring the check when they brought the food and not really stop by to ask about how we're doing. I figured it was cuz we were drunk and she didn't want to deal with us really lol.
