Interesting. I feel like most of my game purchases will be digital then because **** having to switch discs all the time. You can buy all retail games digitally as well, right?

Current gen the digital doesn't come out til well after launch. Not sure if that system is changing =\

I'm confused by this alleged news. I've been using my Harmony remote on my 360 for a couple of years now. It's what I prefer to use over the controller to turn on/off since it will also turn on/off other devices at the same time, and it's also my go-to if I'm using the 360 for non-gaming purposes since it also controls the volume.

I just got e-mailed my codes for Ryse and Forza 5 for my bundle, so I guess I'll be able to redeem those instantly when I get my console and download the full games? Sounds good for the possibility of buying other games digitally.

I'm downtown and can preorder Forza LE, but this store is 40 minutes from home. Or I take my chances at Futureshop tonight. They're not taking preorders for the Limited Edition. =(

There was a big twitter war over this stream and now there are videos like this being made lol. Basically, you can use a remote with Xbox One and the remote from most televisions will work with a PS4. I don't know why this is a big deal.

Obv I was trolling with the "console war is over" remark in respect to Logitech working on day one compatibility with xbone. It is pretty damn cool tho, I love my Harmony smart remote.

What is the best strategy for getting an XB1 in the US asap at this point, without camping out? Is there really going to be a shortage of them at places like Walmart, Best Buy, etc if I don't care about the Day One thing?

I'd start calling stores, ask when they open and how they'll sell the limited number of consoles. Most stores have very few non reserved consoles available.

If I had to make an educated guess I'd probably go with no. But that shouldn't discourage you from still trying imo. The way you'll likely get one, given that most places sold out of their pre-orders they've received, is just randomly calling a store and they tell you they have some. Afaik unless things changed with ps4/xbone it's basically like they don't even know if they're getting more or when so you have to just spam places.
