Beat: We're going to pull Lei Shen for the first time tonight. By all accounts, it's the most challenging encounter in ToT so it should be fun to see how our group handles it. I can't wait.
Brag: A GM opened up Smigel on Ner'zhul
Variance: 15 pulls on Qon with a Fury Warrior subbing in for a Hunter that forgot (???) we were raiding last night. We got the Hunter back in for pull 16 and bam, dead.
Well now, a 13/13H Alliance guild not only responded to recruitment post but also sent me in-game mail asking to talk to me. This could be interesting.
Nice! 13/13H *and* Alliance. It doesn't get much better than that. :P
Lei Shen went ok last night. My impression is for that fight it boils down to all 10 people knowing each mechanic and executing it properly 3 times in a row - or else it's a wipe in the transition phase.

Well I'm sure that this isn't news to anyone here, but I just figured out how to move gold from server to server at no charge - rare cage-able battle pets.
Buy->uncage->login to other server->cage->sell->profit$
Would be hard to move any reasonable sum of money that way, but neat little trick for getting some base funds if your rolling a level 1 on a new server.
We're possibly looking for a holy pally. Ours is moving soon, for work I think, and he doesn't know what his schedule is gonna look like after he moves. I'm not sure if we actually are looking or not, it was brought up during raid tonight but it could have been a joke.
Think we're also looking for an ele shaman if anyone has one and isn't terrible. It would probably need to be geared though, there's no time to gear anyone up now.
I decided to stay horde (unemployed so save money where you can ldo). Moved to a 8/13H guild on Medivh. Talked with them for a couple hours and sat in on part of the raid before deciding that those guys were fun to be around and to join them. We'll probably get to 10/13H before 5.4.
Schedule also fits better so I won't have to miss any hockey games on Wednesdays. (They're tues/thurs/mon, 3 hrs per night, so nice light schedule, too)
I'm excited to raid 25man again. I like that feel of a bunch of people running through a raid. So many personalities. The best part of wow to me is being amped for the progress in to a brand new tier (The 5.4 Trailer was sick) with a whole team of other people.
Still, though, having our resto druid DOUBLE my healing output is still very depressing. I mean I know he's got 20 ilvls on me, but I at least still like to be somewhat competitive -.-
I mean Tortos is extremely irrelevant though, since the vast majority of it isn't really doing anything. Once you have a full buff, the healing you get doesn't really mean anything but it keeps counting, and that's where the vast majority of the healing comes from (or at least mine does because I like to pad).
If you want to be even more depressed, bring a prot pally and you'll probably get outhealed by him. Pretty sure ours does around 80k.
