thats the current toon, I just moved from Kul Tiras helped a work friend out with his guild but as I've bitched about before they just stop progressing and gave up caring. It put my toon really far behind but this new guild was nie enough to do a full clear with me the first night I was with them which is a basical loot pinata for me and caught me right up.

Heh, the bad thing is, if I wanted to get back into progression raiding, my 517 ilvl with 0 T15 pieces is so far behind that any decent guild would laugh me away at this point.

I was 507 when I joined...if you have the experience and been working on your toon they will make an exception and if all else fails throw you in the flex team until you gear up.
Plate tanks on this server seem scarce there is 2 other guilds recruiting them currently , seems really odd to me

Well, it's a lvl 14 and hasn't been played for an extended period of time, since it isn't showing up on the armory (I'm assuming you're talking Smigel), so just submit a ticket to blizz to see if you can have the name released.

It looks like you have to submit a ticket in-game. I guess that's the first thing I'll do when I get on tonight. I made a level 1 toon named Aceium so I can fall back on that if they won't release Smigel. I'm weird about names. If I don't like a toon's name, I straight up won't play them.

It looks like Ner'zhul has a good amount of both Alliance and Horde, with more Horde. What are contested areas i.e. Isle of Thunder like?

Yea pretty decent balance of horde/ally close to 1/1 but slightly more hordes right now but a decent pop on both sides.

Have they said what realms would be connected to others next patch? Maybe some of you guys wouldn't even need to transfer, no?

I don't think they've come out with a list of realms yet. It's not dropping with 5.4, so to get in on early Siege of Org. raids, transferring is necessary.
