i had a blast playing ratchet and clank on ps3 in bestbuy a little while ago.

i'm going back and scooping a few ps2 ratchet n clanks, they'll tide me over till i HAVE to get a ps3 with GOW3.

anyone else like this series? they seem awfully fun.

No, there isn't vying for control. It is not turn based, it's real time. I'd stay away from reviews/videos GB, just trust me that you will love this game.

I tried delving back in to HOMM 4 after playing KB, but it doesn't work with Vista 64

HOMM 5 is the biggest pile of **** I've ever played so I'm stuck without a game!

went to bestbuy and futureshop today looking for NHL 09. None in stock.

However they did have about 15 NHL 07's an inordinate number of copies of "NFL Head Coach" and also a ridiculous supply of other such grub. i ask why. i ask why

on videogames.com almost all of them have a 8.5-9 rating in the reviews.

I play it with my girlfriend occasionally and we have some decent fun with it. Some of the platforming is terrible (especially for her as she isnt much of a gamer) due to bad camera logic, but mostly is a good time.

I've played Lego: Star Wars, Indy, & Batman. All pretty cool, but they are so similar that the second or third one you play loses it's luster a bit. Overall, I think Batman was my favorite, mostly because it's my favorite of the three title subjects. But, you can't really go wrong with any of them.

OMG awesome my friend Dan had the original King's Bounty on his computer and I'd play it every time I went over, that game was amazing.

So I had a gift card burning in my pocket today and swung over to gamestop and purchased dynasty warriors 6. First one I've ever played, seems pretty fun. I cant imagine Ill play it for more than 10 hours or so but who knows.I should just get gamefly

Fantasy Wars (PC/2007)

From the same studio as my much heralded King's Bounty : The Legend. Fantasy Wars, ignoring the ridiculous title, is a very stellar game. It's basically a cross between HOMM and Rome: Total War. The adventure map is gridded, and you control several armies on the screen. More appropriately, it's a cross between King's Bounty and Medieval. I'm just getting into it, but I trust this studio, 1C. They make **** that I like

All of the Dynasty Warrior games are pretty much 99% identical, but they always take away one small thing and change it up. The two big changes in 6 were the team play aspect (where you have to play as 3 guys at once), and the skill system tree in place of picking up items. I really disliked both changes so I wasn't really fond of the game as a whole, although it wasn't really bad - just not really good either.

Pick up Ninety Nine Nights instead. Exact same type of game, but with better graphics, better skills, smoother gameplay, and literally about 10-20x as many guys on the screen at once. And you can probably buy it for like $10 at this point.

Wasnt trying to say that I was not entertained by the Wii Sports package, just that overall it doesnt have a whole lot to offer as far as depth.

As I have said since the first time I played a Wii, the same characteristics (simple, control scheme, pick up and play gameplay) that make it awesome are also its weaknesses (awkward/inconsistent controls in most games, poor graphics, shallow gameplay in most cases)

Obviously there's a reason why its selling like crazy, because it's something fresh that people like. Cant complain about that!

Completely agree. My niece just got a Wii and they don't have any games except Sports and Play. So my niece has a ball playing bowling. As does my daughter when she visits.

Funny thing is that my daughter almost never plays Wii Sports at home. When she plays the Wii, she always picks Galaxy, Brawl, or Kart. So even 7 year olds think that Sports is a bad game.

On another note, I'll be picking up a DS with a XMas gift card that I got! I love platformers, so I'll probably be picking up New Super Mario Bros and maybe Yoshis Island.

Although I love the GH series, I don't think I'll be picking up GH:OT.
