sold the BL2 code on ebay for $44 and bought P4G... playing it now, lots of story at the moment but only 2 battles i think. I'm sure it'll change soon though
enjoying my purchase though and the ps4 system link is pretty awesome
How in the flying **** does Nintendo manage to fail so goddamn hard?
They have the biggest brand in video games, the most recognizeable franchises that sell no matter what, and yet they just cannot seem to get the **** out of their own god damn way.
Now they're making a new console for China or some **** and making NFC Mario Skylanders bull****, what the hell is going on over there? Do they think about their business plan EVER?
There better be some firings soon. Iwata is gone for sure, I think we all know this. Hot damn, what a mess.

Release a new super smash bros already too dammit! I don't even know what their new system is called, but, when Smash Bros comes out I'll be buying the system just to play that. Nintendo fed me that crack when I was 11 and now I'm hooked for life. F' them is right, ha.
so now they're obv grasping at "innovation" straws trying to capture that Wii magic again
how about you just make a console that doesn't suck, then devs will make games for it, then your console will sell well, it's not complicated, you're nintendo, people will buy your goddamn ****
Just finished Hitman Absolution, which was free on Games with Gold last month. First Hitman game I've played and honestly I thought it was one of the most frustrating games that I actually bothered to finish (the presentation and characters were of high quality so that kept me going). It's like figuring out fairly easy puzzles except with the really annoying caveat of trying to stay hidden through arbitrary means that often blow up in your face without a moment's notice, yet you can often bypass the whole thing by just shooting people in the head. I felt the same way about Dishonored but at least that game had a power system to make me feel like a badass and provide some variation to the approach. I think I don't really enjoy stealth games because there's no reward other remaining hidden; Far Cry: Blood Dragon got it right where there were tangible benefits to remaining stealthy (namely better and more satisfying kills).
Blood Money was much, much better in that respect, Absolution was a pretty big departure for the franchise and they made a bunch of frankly puzzling design choices about costume effectiveness and level design.
I haven't played in several years but Battlefield 1942 is imo in the running for GOAT team FPS game. I've spent countless hours in that game. The first joystick I ever purchased for flying was because of that game. The dogfights on some of those maps could be epic at times.
Are there any other games other than P3 that are like Persona? Mostly in terms of like the day to day schedule and character interaction.
Catherine was the first Atlus game I ever played and it made me want to get a vita/play Persona... mostly because of the story and stuff and not the puzzle part.
But I've heard the main SMT series is more focused on dungeons ? Which are fine but not really what has me hooked on the game.

I got a Wii U a few weeks ago. I love it to death, I just wish it had more games. Tablet is amazing. I'm sad they aren't selling more units. I think it will end up around the GC mark when all is said and done which sucks.
