The number of flappy games is TOO DAMN HIGH

L.A. Noire and Max Payne 3 use TAGES GameShield, GTA IV uses SecuROM while the older GTAs had SecuROM removed, and all three require Rockstar Social Club while GTA IV also requires GFWL. Bully doesn't look to have any DRM aside from Steam. Agree with MinusEV, GTA IV is probably the worst experience I've ever had installing a game and made me reformat my old XP machine, and probably was the start of my boycott against companies that use DRM.

I was looking at The Swapper trailers, has anyone played this? It got really good praise, but just wanted some other people's opinions.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is looking pretty cool. Cryengine RPG with a pretty unique fighting system. It looks a bit like a more controlled version of that weird rabbit fighting game Overgrowth that's been in development for years. I don't have a lot of confidence that the single player campaign will be any good, but it's cool to see these new melee weapon fighting systems being developed. I was never impressed with War of the Roses or Chivalry, but this looks promising.

I thought it was really good. Some decently tough puzzles but not too hard. My main criticism was lack of variety but the main concept of the game works really well and it looks great and the ending was pretty good.

I really don't hate origin, and I find it a decent program, but fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu today **** just won't work.

I just can't load anything. Neither the client store nor the website works for me. Pissing me off so bad. Just times out.

Latest updates have ****ed everything up, my gf's laptop wouldn't even connect anymore. She has one damn game (sims 3) and I had to reinstall and reconfigure a bunch of ports just to *view* the game in her library. Is there even an offline mode at all?

it's been working fine for me today. just fired it up for the first time in a couple weeks to play some ME3 and didn't have a problem. what exactly is going on with yours?

Man I dunno how I didn't discover how awesome PS Plus was until recently (as I'm sure the Xbox equivalent is).

Had a blast with Bioshock Infinite and the Devil May Cry reboot, for completely different reasons.

Now I'm playing Metro: Last Light. Wow, pretty awesome as well. Kind of like a "The Last of Us" FPS (stealth or gun kills, enemy variation, type of environment etc). Plus, some classic lines in the beginning.

The Xbox equivalent isn't nearly as good. It's one game at a time, alternating between deep back catalog stuff(Halo 3, Gears of War 1, etc.) and XBLA titles.

So I went and visited my parents last week and they had a box of stuff that was mine they were going to throwout. It was obviously old video game stuff(I had a minor panic attack when they said they were throwing it out) and I'm in the process of sorting/cleaning/fixing. PS2's cd tray won't open(probably just gonna get a new one), Dreamcast is in terrific shape, PSOne worked just fine.

Anyway, spent all morning cleaning these games and the system as best I could:



I'm pretty bummed I couldn't find the Chrono Trigger or Super Mario Kart cartridges. I see they are worth $90 and $27. So getting them again might not be completely worth it but it's something I'm considering at the moment.

Super Mario Kart still hands down my favorite out of all of the Mario Karts. It reminds me of the good ol days submitting records to Nintendo power for time trials many years ago.

hey can i get some advice on setting up my character in baldur's gate?

i haven't played it before but i snagged Baldur's Gate: The Original Saga and Baldur's Gate 2 Complete from GOG.com last week and I've decided to go for an Elven Archer build, I rolled a 92 with an 18/92 which seems pretty boss.

How does this setup look:

STR: 18/92
DEX: 19
CON: 17
INT: 10
WIS: 14
CHA: 14

If all goes well with this character I'd be looking to import it to BG2 later on, thoughts?

LttP is probably my second most played console game next to Super Mario Bros. 3 so just having that pumped me up(have beaten it twice since hooking the SNES up).

Plan on going through all the games on the left over the next few weeks.

Been hoping another box shows up at my parents that has Chrono Trigger in it, lol.

Have LttP on virtual console. Its an annual playthrough for me since the late 90's, so it is certainly my most played game in terms of longevity

Looking for a cheap used Xbox 360 (see many on Craigslist well under $100), what should I watch out for?

Was only going to consider ones that can be hooked up and tested before I buy. Was going to insert and eject multiple disks to make sure it can read them all (as I understand some systems have recurring problems reading disks).

Any other easy test I can do?
