Can anyone point me to a legal online site that has pc versions of old PS1 games? I would love to be able to play an old PS1 game I had called Intelligent Qube. Apparently it must still have a decent following since used copies of it are available on Amazon or ebay STARTING @ $45. The sites that google lists in a quick search don't exactly seem legit. Might be wishfull thinking here but figure it's worth a shot.

This will probably get passed up, but I guess this weekend is free Xbox Live Gold.

Not really sure what is going on here.

Supposedly this is a free XBL Gold weekend. I turned on my XBox and try downloading the Crysis 2 demo/free multiplayer, but it's saying it's for Gold members only.

Is there something I have to do?

EDIT: Just tried playing Halo: Reach and that MP works. I really just wanted to try Crysis!

I'm really hoping I don't get in trouble since these are usually no no's. But *******.com is legit. *I am only stating that for correct use according to copyrights*

I think you can still play Halo MP on silver. In halo 3 you can play social on a silver account. That might be the case. Also I'm currently DL'ing the Crysis, Dead Space 2 and Bulletstorm demos.

The Microsoft Live Team's official response is: Gamerscore resets are done when cheating is detected to keep LIVE fun, fair and safe for everyone. We only do them when we are 100% confident that cheating has occurred, and they are not something that can be appealed. Details can be found here - http://www.xbox.com/Live/Cheating."
lol @ the thinking quality and customer service in that point of view.

Yeah, I recognise that.

But if they never make a mistake and have a false positive hit for cheating, it means that that they probably leave a lot of the cheats on the site.

Trying to pick an old game to play, thoughts?

Play KOTOR II. First one is top 5 to me, but I never played II.

Re-play Suikoden, or play Suikoden II for the first time. Loved 1.

Play FF VII, which I never finished when it came out.

FF 7's graphics are a bit dates, but IMO the gameplay and storyline still hold up well. I replayed it like 2 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. I love the materia system though.

I've beaten FF7 3 or 4 times. Love that game to death.

I love the old SNES RPGs. Soul Blazer, Illusions of Gaia, Terranigma. Lufia 1 and 2 are both good. Secret of Mana is probably one of the best RPGs ever.

Try to find an SNES emulator online.

KOTOR 2, it's the sequel to one of your top 5 games. FF7 seems likely to have a remake at some point, but if you would prefer the original graphics anyway then go with that instead.

Damn you, google ads! I'm really getting sick of seeing all these 'buy wow gold/leveling' adverts all over the place!

Gizmo tried to get me to play FF7 when I was visiting her, after the intro sequence I couldn't really tell what was going on on the screen. I can deal with bad graphics, hell, I love them in Earthbound! But I just don't dig not knowing what the heck is happening.

www..com It's legit. To avoid infarctions *please use this within the parameters of copyright laws*

This one is best for like PS1/N64 and possibly PS2/Xbox emulators (I've only used the PS1/N64 so far). The snes has a semi-limited selection afaik but the PS1 section has a full forum basically like this that can help you get the right bios etc.

I always reccommend Fatal Frame 2 (Project Zero 2 in Europe), to anyone who'll listen. It might feel a bit clunky these days (control scheme is much like Res Evil 1), but I feel it's one of those titles everyone should at least try.

It's a Japanese ghost story, and it's utterly terrifying. No other survival horror game comes close to capturing a feeling of pure dread. I thought Silent Hill 1 & 2 were scary, but this blew it out of the water.

And don't get me started on people who thought Dead Space was frightening. Atmospheric, yes. Frightening, good lord no.

suikoden 2 > 1 in basically every way. I also replayed suikoden2 twice within the last year, and now my gf is playing it through for the first time and I still find it interesting to watch :P - Highly recommend it, especially if you loved the first one. I'd probably play through both if I were you.

FF7 is/was obviously very very good as well although I haven't played it in a bunch of years. I am thinking about doing it soon though. I would recommend suikoden over ff7 but it's more of a personal preference and seeing as you didn't finish ff7 back in the day I'd recommend suikoden for sure (if you have to pick one of them)

I've never played Deus Ex 1. I've seen it on various top x video games list through the years and the recent trailers for DX3 made me consider playing it. Is it a worthwhile experience without having the nostalgia from having played it when it came out?

Hai Guys.

PS3 problem here, I am getting an unsupported file type message when I try to play a .AVI movie file from my USB flash drive.

From what I have read, there are a couple programs I could use re encode the file in a different way, to make it compatible with the PS3?

anyone have any experience with this/which program would be the best?, thanks.

Bought it on steam but it won't run properly on win7.

Hey I'm looking for recommendations for really fun 2 player games for SNES. So far I have Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Super Bomberman, Mario Kart, and Dr. Mario. Thoughts?
