hey guys, I've been looking to get a bit into souls-like genre and Im looking for recommendations. Few things that are important to me:

- must be playable on PC, I don't own any consoles and don't intend to. For example, I tried a little DS 1 and 2 and 1 was completely unplayable on PC due to controls, 2 was much better, but still not perfect. Got a new PC few months ago, so system requirements should not be a problem

- setting - I much prefer fantasy/high fantasy settings, though some low fantasy or fantasy/sci fi mix is also fine

- RPG elements, I understand that most of those games are somewhere on a scale between "action" and "rpg", I prefer being closer to RPG as I enjoy stats, character and equipment tinkering a lot (by "rpg elements" I simply mean how complex character progression system is)

- difficulty, I want to die A LOT, so the harder the better

So, from what I gathered by reading through some reviews, it would appear that Dark Souls 3 is the perfect candidate, but maybe you guys have any other recommendations? Thanks in advance

If you play on higher difficulties The Witcher 2 is stupid hard and I think it meets your other requirements pretty well

Really interesting documentary about the Half Life series by the same guys that did the documentary about Bethesda Studios that was released at E3.

Not sure if this will be anyone else's bag but I'm loving this iphone game Carrier Battles 4 Guadalcanal. It's based on a deep-strategy boardgame and is quite excellent imo.

Good stuff! Easily one of my top 5 most played games of my youth.

Apparently kingdom hearts 3 is finally going to get released in a month. I’m probably too old for it now, but 1&2 were some of my favorite games when they were released, 16 and 13 years ago.

I "liked" Indie Gala on Facebook at some point, probably to enter a contest. I've been fine having their posts (and a couple other video game-related sites) on my feed, as often the articles are interesting or there is a good bundle advertised that I might not otherwise know about.

But holy ****, lately half the games/bundles Indie Gala advertises are ****ing anime porn games. It got to the point where I finally "unliked" them.

In fact I owned a good number of these back in the day so I’ll enjoy for nostalgia if nothing else

Also, it’s already been hacked so can put more games (Symphony of the Night one time)

From what I read at the time they 1st announced it was coming out,Intelligent Qube is only on the Japanese version which pissed me off because it's one of my favorite games of all time

Picked up the PlayStation Classic today, haven't tried it yet. Target wouldn't let me use the Cartwheel coupon with my in-store pickup order, but they just cancelled it and had me re-buy right there since they obviously had the item in front of me.

The cartwheel coupon went out of my account when looking st the app today and I can’t add it back in

I even made a new account but it’s not in the search. It seems they removed the coupon early?

I don’t want to pay 70 for this, so I guess I’ll wait for next time there is a deal; pretty bs for them to tell me it expires on 12/29 but then remove my ability to use it early
