X-Box Game Pass is for X-Box One only.

I just signed up for Xbox Live Gold for a $1 for one month, so if something isn't to our liking, it's a buck.


If we can use more than one profile/account with it (family sharing or whatever), I have a couple other Xbox 360's* I could hook up and see if we can play on multiple devices at once with the account.


*I got a deal from someone on Facebook for two Xbox 360 S's (250 GB and 500 GB) with about a dozen games, two Kinects, all the hookups and SEVEN wireless controllers for $150. Only things missing were the battery packs for two of the controllers and one HDMI cable. Figured I could keep one as a backup/second console and sell the other with a couple controllers.

I read on some wiki earlier that Medieval II Total War has a Lord of the Rings mod for it out there, has anyone here played it?

Zachtronics' new game almost in early access

Looks awesome. Opus Magnum was kind of a letdown, but I doubt I'll ever not be hyped for a Zachtronics game.

You all know how they have rando drafts in SE? Wonder if this forum could put together a draft for like best video games of all time. Like 4 rounds X number of teams or something.

Sure, I'd be down. I'd suggest having restrictions like 1 game per era/console/whatever though and some sort of subjective criteria which makes the best video game roster

disagree with this, sounds like it would just lead to a consensus hivemind list that looks like a million other '50 best games of all time' lists. rather just see SE type drafts where some picks are standard, some picks are jokes, and some are left field but make a case in an entertaining way.

like, if someone wants to argue that the best game ever is Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, i'm gonna think they're dumb but i also want to read the post.

What about having “roster spots” that you have to fill, I’m thinking by genre and maybe add some for different time frames as well? Perhaps each pair of rounds could be a different era? This might lead to some more fun teams than it we just go totally random as well as preventing paralysis by analysis from having too many options. Sign me up! Maybe start a thread and see who responds?

Feel like I'm going to get yelled at for this, maybe deserved, but I've never played red dead redemption... Would still draft it and maybe high on the list. But yes, in general I think most would do what youre saying.

Curious if anyone has played much Elite Dangerous. I see it’s only sale for like half off on the Microsoft store. Would be playing it on the xbone. Laptop gaming has been hurting my neck lately. :-/

Wondering if it’s too overly complicated to start investing time in. Also kinda bugs me it appears to have season passes and whatnot for the DLC or expacs or whatever they’re called.

Elite Dangerous has a pretty tough learning curve. However, figuring stuff out is part of the fun. It is the best space exploration/spaceship game I've ever played. I highly recommend the game to everyone. (unless you easily get frustrated and don't want to deal with a learning curve).

I only play it on the PC. For a new player, the base game gives you a ****load of content. After you get proficient with the base stuff, go and buy Horizons. That DLC will allow you to land and explore planets.

The base PC game goes on sale for $7.50 a couple times a year. The game is a steal at that price.

Not sure anyone cares about this game anymore but I just tried PUBG for iPad and was shocked at how much fun it was. The in-game currency and cosmetic stuff is mind boggling but the controls are surprisingly good. I’m sure Fortnite being free gives it a huge advantage but this is a much better game imo.

Just saw that the end of the NES ghostbusters game ends with “Conglaturations! You just finished a great game!”
