ZvT reminds me of how people used to complain about ZvP and the imbalances at different points of the game. I guess it's still true in ZvP and just means blizzard generally sucks at this (or maybe balancing a game is really that hard).

idk if ZvP is imbalanced right now but at least it's not stagnant - like, if there's some really OP playstyle like endgame skytoss deathball or w/e that Protoss can turtle into, we at least don't see every game developing into that like we did with BL/infestor in WoL.

Tastosis are really becoming terrible at casting. They had absolutely no ****ing clue what was going on in game 3 of the loser's match.

That awkward moment when you're like "okay it's gg"...and you're wrong about which player was gg'ing. Jesus, learn some ****ing game sense.

I as a protossplayer was 100% sure that First was dead and I`m pretty sure he actually WAS dead. For some Reason hyvaa decided to make Roaches instead of Hydras and that`s what lost him the game(He clearly had the gas). I was in that excact same situation a gazillion of times and got crushed. And Tasteless/Artossis prolly were too as they both play Protoss.

So it was more like LOLHYVAA.

after he got broken at the wall and was down 50 supply and tasteless i think basically said he thinks thats it, i got up to get a drink and thought to myself of course its over, hes beyond dead. come back up to the comp and see first wins, for like 2 mins i assumed it was just an error by the vid guys (like how right under they had the races for next match backwards) anyway, they certainly arent as bad about not actually knowing whats going on as most. altho artosis could cast action better on his own, def entertaining with 2

I mean it`s quite ridiculous to say that Artosis doesn`t have any gamesense. With Appollo he is prolly the best caster around. Tasteless obv derps a lot, but he isn`t that bad either, also it`s not his job to know the game perfectly that`s what Artosis is for.

From this forum's king of haters, I take this as a great compliment.

And yeah, I recognize that Artosis is a great caster with Apollo, so maybe it's just being with derptastic Tasteless that drags him down; like, Tasteless says stupid **** all the time, and either cause they're good friends or Artosis doesn't want to make his co-caster look bad Artosis won't correct him, so maybe he gets in a mindset that's conducive to him not being on top of his casting game.

And obv I'm not claiming to be some genius like "I KNEW HYVAA WAS GOING TO FAIL ALL ALONG" but the battles were becoming noticeably less one-sided by the time the gg happened, and I did notice the supplies pulling very close to the point where I was like "wait, is hyvaa going to blow this?" There was def a point when he was like 70 supply up when it looked like First was dead, and it was definitely a throw, and maybe even a premature gg cause hyvaa had like 2-3x First's army supply when he left, but the casters were still acting like it was a done deal and First was still dead long after the throw started. I'll put it this way: when I saw that hyvaa was the one saying gg, I was much less surprised than Tasteless and Artosis were, and that probably shouldn't happen.

Sure, but he misses things/doesn't know things that he would know if he played the game at even a casual level or put a minimal amount of effort into improving his casting (watching VODs, etc.). His "game knowledge" basically consists of rehashing things artosis said two games ago and saying phrases that were considered insightful in 2011.

I think this is wrong. I mean how often does it happen that a progamer forgets to tech something and even chronoboosts it then. It happens because you sometimes go on Autopilot. Also you as a viewer only do one thing - you watch the game. They have to focus on entertaining the people and think about what to say and do next.

It prolly happened to you in poker too where you play a Hand and suddenly you have no Idea what is going on as you just didn`t follow the action properly.


I`ve been watching GSL since the first season and Tastosis were ridiculously hilarious to me back then. I highly enjoyed watching and laughed my ass off all the time, - it`s not like that anymore(Though they give me good laughs still). But when I think about how much time I spend listening to them ... I`d say it`s probably like 1000+ hours over those 3 years.
That`s A LOT of talking. I didn`t spend nearly as much time with anyone I know the last 3 years.

i think artosis is still best caster, tasteless is definitely not on the lower half (imo) but then again he has the best to carry him.

to branch out and kinda expand on nisash and "just watching", sometimes ill be watching and it just hits me, "omfg legend, you are the best obs ever", something i think we can all agree upon

I mean, sure, their job is hard, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't call them out on it when they screw up.

I can't help but think that Wolf and Khaldor would have crushed the casting in that game and would have brought a lot of energy to the final engagement and noticed that First was turning things around. With Tasteless involved, it's like "umm, well, yeah, I think First is just about gonna tap out here".

Watching the end again, that was a really sick hold + exciting game and Tasteless and Artosis sound like they could give 0 ****s about it.

I feel like they should rotate a bit but wolf with tasteless and khaldor with artosis etc.

i feel like wolf has gotten a lot more apathetic since when i started watching gsl and i dont think khaldor is on their level.
