Basically you can warp to any owl without having it activated.

I wonder out of the $5 one gets for a sub how much eq they actually receive?
Twitch.tv (General Discussion of streams and 2p2ers on Twitch) Quote

Pretty sure they get half.

That seems about right I guess.

Wonder who has the most subs... Assuming like 15k subs = $37500 a month for playing video games. Plus ads.

Thanks guys

I don't think anyone has 15k subs. More like 2-5k max but I could be wrong. Still 2k subs is 60k/year base, + ads (which aren't negligible if youre getting 1000s of viewers) and donations (which can be huge.)

Also subs aren't directly related to viewers. Ducksauce has like 1500 subs and his stream only has like 3k viewers. Really depends how good the streamer is interacting with his/her audience.

LiriK who doesn't get that many viewers (8k on average) has over 2k subs. 25% subcription rate is huge. The guy is hilarious and interacts a ton with viewers. GL WG, you certainly have potential to be a good entertainer.

8k viewers is pretty huge in the grand scheme of things. But regardless, yeah, subscribers aren't related to viewers necessarily. Viewers are a measure of how large your fanbase is, while subscribers are a measure of how PASSIONATE they are. Just like in sports, smaller markets like Green Bay or Winnipeg can survive due to passionate fans willing to spend money, while other markets like LA and NYC might survive more on pure volume.

Having both would be pretty gg though

Goose, what kind of elite subscriber emotes will you be getting on your channel?

That as the subscriber icon, if it gets approved

Then for emotes I am planning;

rwgPennyZ (my dog Penny's face)
rwgTrixieZ (my dog Trixie's face)
rwgCowichanHames (my Cowichan sweater)
rwgAffectTheFR (like an orange block)
rwgLIGHTS (string of Christmas lights)

Are you sure you don't want a cat emote? I feel like there's not enough of them on twitch.

Seriously though, sick sub icon. Sweater emote op.

does anyone else have this issue where twitch automatically sets volume at 50% and will revert to that level if you change streams? chrome/win7
