Gotta say, I don't mind the ads at all, with the exception of the one ad that plays whenever you first click a stream. Sometimes I'll get on and there will be 3 or 4 streams going that I want to decide between and I rage pretty quick having to sit through an ad for each one when I just want to get a quick idea of what's going on in the stream currently.
afaik, Twitch changed their ad policy recently so that if you watch an ad on one channel, you shouldn't see another one just for opening another stream, at least for awhile. Do you open 3/4 streams at once? That might still launch ads on all of them if you haven't actually finished one yet.

Well I just did a sequence of >Open Stream>watch ad>decide stream sucks>open another stream>watch ad>decide 2nd stream also sucks>open 3rd stream>watch ad>continue watching Lockwood cuss like a 13-year-old...so IDK, maybe I'm doin it wrong

a.d.b.l.o.c.k.
eta: and I should prob add (since it is filtered on this site for a reason) that I don't use it for anything but Twitch, since it is the one site where ads are so goddamn annoying they ruin the experience.

I pay for plenty of stuff on Twitch. If they want me to sit through their ads on top of it then they should work on making a way to keep them from ruining the experience. Youtube figured out a happy medium because it wasn't until I started watching Twitch regularly that I felt the need to install it on a secondary browser.
Agree that ads are terrible on twitch. I use it as well but still turn it off for partnered streamers I enjoy. Gotta support things you like on the internet.
Lockwood streams pretty regularly. He disappears sometimes for a month or two at a time, but when he's streaming, he goes almost every night. Definitely worth a follow
Hahaha. Damn right after I go and pass out too. Oh man, seriously was cracking up everytime he opened his mouth last night. If he is like that all the time he is completely worth the watch.
I'm also taking some credit for his top 10 on SDL for getting him views from 2p2.
Funkdoc and Feasel are def elite follows as far as speedrunners imo, though Funk has been playing some advanced board game lately.
I'll have to give those other guys a shot.
Also I'm pretty sure he was mentioned in the Steam thread, not sure about here, but bananasaurus_rex is pretty godly at Spelunky and pretty entertaining as a commentator.
