Hey I was gonna create this thread! This is a sick marathon, ive watched it since they started and it's always super entertaning and a very good cause.

On the schedule:

"Note that start times are based on your computer's local timezone." Why doesn't everything everywhere have this?!

I love when they do races where 2 people play a game head to head. It's amazing when you're 10-15 minutes into a game like Mega Man and there is only 1 second or so separating the 2 players... it really helps you realize how refined these speed runs are.

I might try to catch some of the Metroid ones. Back before this sort of thing was more common I thought I was pretty badass at speedrunning Super Metroid, but of course I wasn't remotely close to these guys - I think my best time was around 1'10" with like 65% completion, so it's pretty ridiculous to watch how bad that gets spanked.
