There hasn't been much said, but rumor is that Jaedong has been playing under a couple of accounts, but not too much about it to confirm. Fwiw, I don't read the SC2 stuff on TL too much, so I don't keep an eye on it particular. JD still has a while to go before he is forced to enlist, so his options are open. Also, the whole Team8 future is uncertain and it seems he was crushed by Oz's disbanding (Lomo, Anytime, etc, were close friends). Bisu, on the other hand, will probably stay in BW since it might be hard for a SC2 to match Bisu's 200Kish salary + travel expenses, so his last couple of years will be more profitable in BW.

Games have been decent so far, a lot more final Game 5's, which isn't surprising because of the new format. Don't know what to say about the maps since it's early, but a lot of PvPs so far, and in general, mirror matches. Would strike me that the maps are not great, but again, too early.

Random Thoughts:

Quality of the VODs is hit or miss and being on the east coast USA, it's rough for me to watch them live obviously, so I rely on VODs. MSL not being around is weird, since there is usually something going around (survivor, etc), but whatever. Proleague format with no grand finals blows, lack of ace match blows (but not surprising in a Bo5 format and on the flip side, we get better games overall), and the relaxed schedule is nice since it will give players time to practice (for SC2 as well since it's rumored it will be part of proleague this year). Last year was too hectic and no wonder players complained about it.

Jaedong vs Snow sometime ago was depressing, it just looks like jaedong wasn't all with it (maybe from the team 8 uncertainty) e.g. lost all mutas to storm e.t.c

I've not seen many games recently FWIW.
