lol insta-quit? and 6 pool isnt all that scary, i *rarely* get 6 pooled in ladder. There's a lot to the matchup, and a good amount of meta-game usually going on.

on the other hand, the 8 pool double spine crawler rush on small maps is pretty infuriating, luckily its not too prevalent anymore.

i just switched to the imba op race so it's ok now

it is sort of funny that gospy has prob beaten me in the last 8-9 straight TvPs ive played him in and zefa wiped me clean i n5 straight TvPs earlier in the day

but i switch to Z and within my first 10 games i have a long epic game with zefa that i should have won and i beat gospy twice (altho both of them obviously beat me far more times than i beat them overall... but that's better than getting white washed)

i think Z just suits my style of play more. dingo, stunna and pwn have been harassing me for a while to switch to it. i like macroing and i like being passive/reactive to the opponent.

i always thought T would be good because as a poker player im uber aggressive/laggy, but for whatever reason this style never translated to SC2.

lol, I'm looking at the account of the guy he played right now. He's a plat random player with a losing record over 1800 games. Not the real IdrA.

I can relate to this. I switched from terran to zerg in sc1 and definitely improved. And in war3 I was much better with undead than any other race.

You can pay korean pros to play your account for rating gain, given how many views he'll whore w/ his youtube/etc to keep his "efame" going, it's about 100% certain it's something like that.

Frankly the best thing we can do is just never mention it again and not give him any attention.

God do I hate that obnoxious arrogant little ****. Does he not realize how offputting his schtick is? I guess it works for him because he gets the (mostly negative) attention he strives for, but he'll never be liked by the SC2 community. He's not a charismatic, likeable, friendly character like a Day[9] or a Husky, just the opposite in fact. Not that he's trying to be like them or fit into their same niches - he clearly has already chosen his niche.

I have a really hard time believing he just picked up SC2 and went 49-1 right to Masters. It's possible he's been playing for quite a while and practicing a ton and once he finally got good enough he started a new account to make it seem as though he was able to make it to Masters overnight. It's also possible he's not the one really playing on the account and is paying someone else or something of that sort, although you'd have to question if a guy like him who seems to have so much invested into his strange youtube schtick would risk killing his credibility in such a way (although you could use the same logic to argue that he'd be desperate enough to do such a thing to boost his e-peen). It's only a matter of time before he's exposed if that's the case, unless we're supposed to believe that god's gift to SC2 isn't going to try to compete in tournaments to prove his amazingness to the world, where he won't be able to get away with having others play for him.

The sad part is this post about him just goes to validate his nonsense.

I don't really understand the Athene hate. He plays a character. As for the hotkeys, it's plausible kiwi taught him to play and he just adopted his same hotkey system.
