idk, no one argued that heavily against Rogue being best player in the world in 2017 when he won Kespa Cup to barely slot in to the last spot of Blizzcon and then won Blizzcon.
Except unlike Rogue, Serral dominated the competition in
every tournament he played in 2018,
including when he faced Koreans in GSL vs. the World (3-0 over Innovation, 3-1 over Dark, 4-3 over Stats) and
including in Blizzcon (2-0 over sOs, 2-0 over Zest, 3-0 over Dark, 3-1 over Rogue, 4-2 over Stats) and
including the bo1 in which he wiped the floor with your precious Maru in GSL vs. the World. He took the best Korea had to offer, chewed them up, and spit them out.
If Maru's so ****ing good, maybe he should try making the finals of a tournament that Serral is playing in. But I guess that's too hard for him!
