So I actually watched all the VODs of what happened today, they just played the first two matches and the winner's bracket match. 2nd place in groups A and B haven't been decided yet, and will be decided Sunday.
So as of now, officially,
Maru and Serral are through in 1st, and everyone else is still alive in the loser's bracket and the decider match for 2nd place.
I mean, if you have the stones to pick the last Korean qualifier sOs to ship, you've got to be okay with the results when a cannon rush goes wrong
The stones to predict the same thing that happened last year?
I think the nature of this tournament being what it is, all the top 8 Koreans are so good, the best few might be more likely than the bottom few but any of them could win and it wouldn't be shocking. Hell, sOs did win a blizzcon before, didn't he?
wtf is incontrol talking about? "This looks good for Showtime that he killed Dark's natural, but is it? He has no map presence!"
Who cares? Dark has two (unconnected) hatches, a bunch of speedlings, and a low worker count against a 2 base Protoss with a solid wall and shield batteries. What the hell is Dark going to do to him?
i agree with you. i was a little surprised that dark just continued to all in instead of actually trying to use his map control to drone up, but when i was watching that, i was thinking "no...dark is way behind"
healthy use of spoilers. tried to find a clip of the league "RESPECT THE PAUSE"
i was also confused with how they were running the groups.
this isnt really a spoiler but happened on day one
i think it was kaelaris during the ty/neeb ghost rush game, that said a snipe can one shot a probe, a zealot, and a stalker. my friend said you can definitely snipe a stalker, i adamantly said no you cant. and past that, you cant even snipe a probe. otoh, next time we play 1v1 i am most definitely ghost rushing after a proxy marauder game
i also think my bracket portion is fairly in trouble having my picks out of order (or worse)
