GuMiho vs Serral game 1 was a great back and forth T v Z game. There were a couple times I thought one of them had the game won, only for the opponent to come back and swing the game completely the other way.

Bisu v Flash game 3 is worth watching, if only to see Flash try an incredibly unorthodox counter to fast carriers

SC2 is going free to play!

Starting November 14, the WoL campaign is free, unranked is free, and you unlock access to the ranked ladder by winning unranked games over 10 days (I guess to stop trolls or something).

TvZ and PvZ have so many similarities. Both have units that can just mindlessly fly by mineral lines and cast spells to **** up your economy with almost no danger to themselves (ravens + autoturret, oracles + stasis ward); both have drone killers that can freely be spammed and sent to their deaths in mineral lines for the first ~8 minutes of the game with no consequence as long as they take a few drones with them (hellions, adepts); both feature turtling to an endgame deathball army that Zerg basically can't kill head on (mech, skytoss w/ storms).

Soo has figured out that he really doesn't want the game to get to that stage but you can't always prevent it.

I haven't really followed the pro scene (or even played much SC2 recently). I thought Zerg was in relatively good shape? 8 of the 16 finalist were Zerg. As well as 3 of the 8 QF.

And in the time it took me to look that up, Soo won a late game versus Terran. Unfortunately, I was looking that up and didn't see exactly what happened. I expected to be able to rewind. Guess not.

Looks like soo has another 2nd place finish locked up. He should beat special, and even if he wasn't such a choking loser beating rogue, hero, or innovation would be hard for him.

Soo winning the biggest first prize in SC2 history (I think?) would be GOAT storyline but yeah he'll probably choke.

Rogue would be a great champion too after having to win the last GSL Super Tournament just to make it here
