Against zerg, I do both mech and bio. For bio, I never play just defensive. For mech, I've been trying two different general strategies: 2 base big pressure attack which wins a decent amount of the time or early 3rd CC defensive build with lots of tanks, which almost never works.

Hm, the latter sounds like a harder style to play against for the type of player I am (passive defensive Zerg) but maybe you just haven't figured out how to make it work yet. With tanks and turrets and simcity (and liberators) it should be hard for Zerg to penetrate a defensive 3 base setup without vipers.

EG gets rid of what was left of their SC2 group(HuK and Incontrol). Huk and Incontrol whine because they weren't "treated" fairly by the organization that is no longer run by the people that signed them and let them be part of a completely dead part of their company. Bunch of TL posters and twitter folk talk about how they will no longer support EG.

Game is hard yo. I've actually watched more SC2 in the last month than the previous 11. No SC2 like korean SC2, and never supported EG in any video game ever so ya, who cares. Someone PM me when legacy is down to $15, will for sure buy then.

Incontrol literally whined because he didn't get an official goodbye from the organisation on Twitter or some ****. Hilarious. He has basically been on welfare for years.

Like...PPD has been an owner of the company for A MONTH. So yeah maybe it should have been a bigger to do than it was, but for Maynarde to suggest the company will fail because of this is laughable. But, they were with a company ~6 years. Thats not some tremendously long time or anything. You get a handshake and a pat on the back at best.

This feeling of entitlement is amazing.

No matter how good of an idea it seems to be at the time, you should never tweet about your former employer within a week of being laid off.

Interesting that EG supposedly was handed to PPD et al for almost or no payment and the others weren't even involved or given shares though. I am not sure if that is actually correct but it seemed like from reddit PPD didn't have to buy them out.

Last time I was laid off I was tweeting Poochie quotes within 15 minutes

EG has pretty much been a DOTA2-with-a-side-of-fighting-games team for a while now, so I wouldn't be too surprised if that's how it went. Maybe even less of the side of fighting games since apparently JWong is also gone?

I think Incontrol maybe deserved a little better than he apparently got, but lol at Huk whining like the spoiled bitch he is. He's been irrelevant since like 2011 and should consider himself lucky he wasn't dropped years ago.

Wouldn't bother watching Best/hero. Maybe watch game 1 as it's a build out of 2000, the rest, Best standard corsair control excepted, is just templar abuse

I know very little about BW, but the level of play in ASL doesn't feel all that high to me. For instance, I watched hero (and basically every other Zerg for that matter) just lose his entire army to storms and barely even try to micro out of it. Maybe I just have unrealistic expectations?

Man, sc1 storms are viscous. Hero didn't seem to split well and just got rolled.

storms shred tier 1/2 zerg + you only get 12 units in a control group + macro that much harder = very easy to lose lots of hydras to storm. it is that much better than in sc2

hero's easily one of the top 5 zergs in the world (effort, JD, zero probably the only ones running him close). it's just hard for zergs full stop right now, only eight qualified full stop and hero was the only zerg to make the ro8 last time out
