This is so mind-blowingly stupid that I'm guessing it's just a bug and they'll quickly add it back. It couldn't possibly be intentional.

WCS and GSL finals this weekend

GSL has been underwhelming since Ro8 started.

WCS could be fun though, it's a super-eclectic pool of players. Even though the play won't be top-rate it should be ridiculously entertaining. And Toronto is probably about as good a location as any.

Since anything else would require foreigners not named Snute to come up with huge performances against Koreans, yes.

I love how protoss tech up and build a super complex composition with colossus and archons and immortals and sentries, take several fights, and by the end of the game they just end up making an army of like 50 blink stalkers. Protoss tech tree!

This is another random aside, but I remember a couple of years ago in early HOTS never seeing hydralisks used in pro play. Now hydralisks and especially roach-hydra is way more common...did hydras get a buff somewhere along the way or is that just some metagame evolution

Hydras were pretty uncommon in WoL because they had no place in ZvT and against Protoss they were tough to use without the speed upgrade that they got in HotS. I don't remember it taking that long for them to start being used in HotS, but yeah, basically just meta evolution once they became useful.

I think widow mine drops are easily the most AIDS part of the current meta. It's basically a lottery...will the opponent see this super-predictable drop? (95%) 1 probe kill! Will they miss it and not react? (5%) 4 probe kills! Will the crowd be thrilled?? ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I try to quit games when my bronze smurf's unranked MMR gets too high, but I was looking at something in my browser when a ZvP started so I missed his league. I drone scout gateway first on Iron Fortress, then come back later with lings and see a forge building at the natural but just a stalker (no zealot), and a suuuuper fast robo. He uses a photon overcharge on my 4 slow lings, lol.

So, I respond with a lair, then a hydra den. He takes a third and I see a super fast colossus with my scouting ling so I put down an infestation pit to go fast hive for vipers. ~14:00, I get a few vipers out just as I'm maxing on hydra-ling with some roaches and move out; he has like 5 colossi already, all of which get abducted. He snap-leaves as they die.

We get back to the score screen and I finally see his league: diamond. hahaha oh wow.

I just started drinking so maybe I'll play on my protoss acct. What's my troll strat?
