To add to the "LotV will be terrible" train, Blizzard reverted one of the actual good changes they made. As of the new patch (and they didn't announce this until today for some raisin), corruptors lose their new building-damaging ability that would have kept them from being flying paperweights after Protoss counters your anti-Colossus corruptor ball with mass blink stalker. They're back to having the same Corruption ability they have now (with added auto-cast).
Way to demonstrate that you aren't paying attention at all. I've said repeatedly that the new viper ability is stupidly OP and should and will be reverted. The new corruptor ability was actually good, though.
Turns out the corruptor thing wasn't supposed to be included and it was Blizzard's PR guys that ****ed up this time instead of their design guys, so LotV is still the same amount of awful that it was yesterday.
Just played a zerg that made a hatch in my main, i held that off, then we went into roaches, then roach/bane, then tried muta, then brood lords, I killed those and he tried ultras (and did this off hidden bases in the corners of coda so after I wiped out his first three bases I still had work to do) all of which didn't work, and finally when I didn't think there was any tech left to try he shows up at my 4th with all hydras and I laugh and kill all of those and he finally ragequits
so uh, what do you do if your opponent just rushes two factories, rallies the first two tanks to your natural and traps you in your main with tanks?
The best counter is probably cloaked banshee. I do siege tank rushes a lot in TvT. I do the single factory + starport for viking version. The build actually worked well back in wings when you had to research siege mode and in hots it's super strong. I can't believe it's not more common on ladder. I almost never lose TvT thanks to this build and proxy 2 rax reaper.
