totally threw a game against a plat terran, **** me

Now I'm just losing and playing like ****. I keep doing dumb stuff and keep making poor macro mistakes and am not active enough on the map (historically probably my biggest issue. GO DO SOME DROPS BRO)

My mechanics are just lolbad, so many misclicks, killing my own tanks, hotkeying over my hotkeys, you name it. FFFFUUUUUUUUU and **** this ****ing game

i macro okay, enough to beat gold players, but then i just throw away big supply leads with bad engagements. my unit control is horrible. storm kills me every time. i have no idea how to deal with tanks. i can't drop while also doing anything else. I just panic and misclick and miskey constantly; no idea how to improve either. Like I know what to do, i just cannot do it

Practice in unranked a bit, maybe? And try to slow the game down a little and focus on mechanics? Once you nail that stuff down and don't find yourself scrambling to re-hotkey things in the middle of fights anymore, that will help you out a lot.

I'm trying to slow down and focus on my build a little more and be agressive earlier so I don't end up in stupid situations. It's working a little better. I honestly just suck at like hitting keys on my keyboard, it's hilarious.

I've seen more weird **** since I've been in gold, especially on Vaani. Terrans seem to love building a barracks or two and floating them to the corner of your natural, then pump out reapers. I've lost to that **** twice, lol me. And I've been 2raxed and proxy gated and you name it. Vaani is such a ******ed map. It reminds me of the AIDS that was newkirk precinct.

I played a zerg that wasted all of his money on building like 8 nydus worms all over the map for scouting purposes. lololol

Cliffs:
- costs 150/150
- main attack is anti-air, range 5, ~8 dps (I think, 1.8 weapon speed means 1.8s between shots, not 1.8 shots per second, right?) with splash damage
- can be upgraded to get an anti-ground attack. to use it, it has to morph into siege mode or whatever, at which point it a.) can't move and b.) has to target a specific area (see the pictures for the crosshair things)...
- ...but once you do that, it can fire at a range of MOTHER****ING FIFTEEN (brood lords are 11 in LotV, I think?) and deals EIGHTY FIVE DAMAGE PER SHOT (no splash)

So, that seems...pretty ****ing absurd.

Oh, and here's someone using the new reaper grenade ability. Apparently reaper all-ins weren't balanced before so they needed this buff.

This is a terrible WCS group, wtf. I do miss Rotti's casting, the Huk/Nathanias combo is awkward and painful. Smix is also awkward and painful - I have to mute all the interviews to avoid secondhand embarrassment. Not all bad though - IMO Kane is pretty good and comfortable on the broadcast.
