That's kinda bad news.

Blizz is releasing a test map with some pretty significant changes:

- Bring LotV swarm hosts into HotS: this means SHs don't have to be burrowed but spawning locusts isn't autocast anymore (have to trigger it manually) and has a longer cooldown, but they also get a tier 3 upgrade that let locusts fly.
- PDD duration decreased from 180 seconds to 20 seconds, eat **** and die turtle mech players

Seems awesome for ending TvZ mech vs swarm host stalemates, but also sounds like it could mean Zerg has a harder time dealing with Protoss endgame armies. This is what Blizz said about that:

Reminds me of trying to explain things like probabilities and variance to SC2 fans and it was like banging a head against a wall.

Like the circumstantial evidence is hugely strong but they consider it like nothing.

We're now proxying the stargate whereas before it was in-base I think, and the oracle finishes at 5:02. Right after planting the stargate you get a stalker at home, might have to probe micro a little against a reaper before the stalker pops but then I think you should be ok. Second oracle 5:42, then your 4gate warp-ins start at 7:04. Remember that after starting oracle #2 you're pulling two probes from gas to minerals.

For PvP this is my best attempt at transcribing the 4gate DT build from this, though it's a little difficult cause the timings he describes don't quite work out as written.

Also, because the PvZ +1 4gate never stops being funny: I just played a plat Zerg whose best matchup is ZvP, he has a 71% winrate so far this season. His lings found my probe and so my nearest proxy pylon was only halfway across Vaani Research Station.

if only that one clump of drones were a bit more aggro he coulda gotten at least one kill...


i also seem to find a lot of people who isnta chat block you after games. trolling in 2v2s has to be done sometimes tho
