Balance patch incoming with all the recent test changes (thor AA priority, widow mine back to original damage, time warp duration from 30s->10s).

With that, I present to you, the evolution of Terran through balance changes since HotS release:

- Hellbats need blue flame to get their bonus damage vs light
- Ghosts start with 25 more energy
- Thors prioritize anti-air
- CLOAK COST CUT IN HALF
- INSTANT ****ING HELLBATS WITH ARMORY

Keep in mind that in 2013, Terran won 14 premier tournaments (2 of them after the widow mine nerf!!), to the 8 of Zerg and 9 of Protoss. You can remove all of Taeja's wins and they'd still be equal to the other races. But they're the best race at crying really hard on internet forums and making arguments like "the other races got better at actually playing the game so we rly need to buff Terran", so here we are now, with 2013 Terran plus instant hellbats.

- Free air upgrades for mech
- Siege tank dps increased by 7%

The point is definitely that the changes enabling early attacks with basically free cloaked banshees and hellbats that Terrans can do to wreck Zergs who have the bravado to think they can start a third base before the Terran are useless. I mean, amirite??

You should just give up on HOTS and focus exclusively on Star Battle.

Map updates incoming along with the balance patch: horizontal spawns will be disabled on Deadwing (so it will be cross/vertical only) and Foxtrot (so it will be cross only). Good change.

Don't understand why anyone would play LoL instead of dota 2 it just looks so utterly horrendous, all the designs of the heroes suck (big titted lady overload, no actual cool monsters and ****?) and from what I read on reddit they all actually hate the game and bitch it out non stop comparing it unfavourably with dota.

mostly that several of my friends play LoL and try to get me to play it with them. if i played DOTA it would be like starcraft except i'd suck (worse than i do at SC)

yeah i mean i havent been watching much lately and that doesnt sound great, but isnt zerg having a free early 3rd also sort of a problem? at least if terran commits to that they should have sacrificed some of their own economy while zerg will be strong on 2 base and be able to get a 3rd running faster than T still, but also that im sure it'll be quickly figured out, which kinda like some of the other changes, havent made a big difference overall.

From what I've been told during my entire time playing SC2 by people who are better than me, Zerg needs to be up on bases to stay even with T/P. If that's correct, then I don't see what the problem with Zerg having a "free early 3rd" is, and in any case that wouldn't even accurately describe the current meta, where pro Terrans start their 3rd CC faster than Zergs start their 3rd hatch in every single game unless they 1/1/1.

And they don't have to sacrifice very much economy at all to do this - your normal reaper/hellion opener from 2013 is now a reaper/hellbat opener that requires Zerg to spend loads of money on roaches/banelings to stay alive (watch this game from Code A last night to see what happens if you don't, spoiler on who plays the loser's match), all for the low cost of one stupid armory. Want to go 1/1/1 and add cloaked banshees? That's cheap too. Now we're gonna add back original splash damage mines to this current meta? Dear lord.
