Looks almost Zerus Prime-like in your ability to take lots of bases really really fast, unless it's horizontal spawns in which case I guess you need to kill some rocks first. Center area fairly open, I'll go with slightly Zerg-favored even though T/P will have no problem going up to 3 bases very quickly.

To expand on this - TL has an article today about the new maps with a build for each one. The Deadwing build is for PvZ and is about how Protoss can FFE on this map at the third base and go triple nexus off one cannon.

Time to see if I can remember how to roach all in, I guess.

The Nimbus build is "4 hatch before pool because you know Terran will CC first every time". Yep, these maps are stupid.

yep. it actually did surprisingly well considering he warped in 11 units with a proxy pylon that i wasn't prepared for (i scouted a stargate, but he cancelled it after my OL died and threw down the gateways instead)

luckily hydras are super OP vs gateway units

i just faced a guy in a TvZ (diamond) that did this build...I checked out his match history and apparently he does this in every ZvT. Is this actually a real build?

12 gas
13 pool
queen, speed, keep all three guys in gas
start lair (

) when queen is finished...this is when my reaper scouted his base. at this point i assumed it was either a swarm host rush or some stupid play with roach burrow movement.
take second gas (???????), build 20 lings, get a roach warren

i assume he has to win a lot of his games (that he wins) here, because his transition was to take a natural and get roach and OL speed.
