Oh right, I figured. Root != stun as you can see when you try to fungal any protoss units that aren't zealots. It would be awesome if fungal would prevent casters from casting, as it would make me feel much better about landing a perfect fungal on a sentry immortal ball, only to get all my **** forcefielded anyway and destroyed from range.

are you guys facing hive/ultra rushes in every TvZ these days?

it's pretty ****ing frustrating because as we all know, ultras are basically like HT/colossi in that microing them is more or less counterproductive and they come out basically as soon as my 150-170 marine/widow mine/medivac push comes out to crush muta/ling/baneling.

How many bases are they on when this happens? What time in the game is it?

I can't imagine your early hellion/reaper harass is doing enough to keep them on their toes and keep their economy in check if they can save that many resources for fast ultra tech instead of making lings/banes/mutas and not just straight up die. Maybe you're missing a window before that 150-170 supply push where they have, like, nothing?

Yeah I'm pretty sure I would die if I just rushed straight to ultras... You really need 8 gas, preferably 10. Usually when I get to ultras I win but in order to survive that long I need to stay on ling bane muta to deal with constant terran invasions.

I can't ever get to ****ing Ultra's TVZ and when I do get kited to death even on creep almost!

I watched his stream for a couple days..god...maybe a year ago? He wore some ridiculous hat. But, when watching idra stream it was hilarious, yeah he raged a lot but it never felt fully sincere in that he hated the person he was playing against(well...there were a few).

Avilo is an absolutely awful streamer and outside of being angry has no personality. He went mech against everything when I gave him a try, which is why I watched him because I wanted to see some solid mech-play, but he was so nasty it wasn't fun to watch.

Shocked that he still gets some high numbers while streaming. Not surprised he is teamless if the person that streams is the same that sits down and interviews for jobs with teams.

I took a game off him on ladder a long time ago, he bmed me, was pretty sweet.

pretty sure he always wears that hat. besides meching vs EVERYTHING, he also complains how everything else is op, but terran (ok, that part is true, but dont need to tell us that!).

the most tilting part is the only friend i have that plays plays protoss, got to masters back in the day when auto 4gate was optimal, so obviously he still thinks hes good. he thinks tanks are OP (yes vP too) and that terran is the strongest race.

hes obv really quite bad, but last time we played 1v1 we were both really rusty and i was hammered and got crushed 2-0. prob up something like 10-5 lifetime and some of his losses were very embarrassing
