It'd have to be someone less than gold and I think you're diamond/masters so it prob wouldn't work.

friend plays P, i play T. he was masters the first time 4gate was best build in every matchup. hes not quite as dumb as he sounds, but can anyone come up with a good argument here?

I've been meaning to give away some of the keys from humble bundle 11. Some reason it charged me twice and gave me two sets of keys, my laziness figured it was easier to give the games away than e-mail them the mistake.

I have two Dust: An Elysian Tail, The Swapper, Giana Sisters, Antichamber, Monaco, Beatbuddy, and Starseed Pilggrim.

Antichamber is a decent game, I don't really get Monaco and haven't played the rest. I'm sure you'll be able to give that stuff away easily enough.

strat question- what does it mean when i'm 'losing' in the units lost total virtually every game (around 80%) but winning more than that? is that just supposed to happen as zerg? there will routinely be games (ZvT, ZvP) when I feel like I dominated the entire game, but when the score screen comes up, I'll have lost more units by several thousand (or more).

i sort of feel like it means i have better macro and can therefore afford to lose more, but i'm not sure if it's just because i play the race where throwing **** at a wall until something finally breaks is a legit strategy.

It depends on your economy. If you are playing greedy economy wise you can afford to lose more resources worth of units and still be way ahead of your opponent as long as he's not playing equally greedy economically.

For example in a ZvT if you go 2 base muta rush you can't lose more resources in units vs a terran going fast 3cc or you're boned.

yeah but as zerg you are almost always 1+ bases up so you will have mined a lot more. no other race as as many "throwaway" units, so i would assume thats pretty standard across almost all skill lvls

what are you guys short term when you've defended a 2rax well (minimal drone losses, killed an SCV or two, killed a few marines)? Let's assume you have 2 queens, a spine, and no gas. lately i've been taking way too much damage from the follow-up 10-15 marine push a few minutes later. i can usually kill it by pulling drones and quickly making lings, but i feel like this is the kind of attack i should crush...but at the same time i'd rather not have to make a second spine and/or lings if i don't have to. should i be trying to find the barracks? i'd rather have my lings at his natural harassing.

that sounds really ugly.. reposition spine, 4-6 queens, 3rd hatch (obv overlord is scouting)

how often do you not find his rax by now? 4 lings basically kill anything that comes from 2 rax unless they rally into a corner. if you dont die, i have a REALLY hard time imagining you are behind.

Sounds like you simply drone too hard and don't scout his follow up. You are tryng to push your huge economic lead, but have left yourself vunerable. Scouting hard with lings whilst producing quite a few queens should leave you enough time to react to anything he throws at you that early.

Get ling speed, then lol @ the no stim/shield/medivac 0-0 marines.

you won't be able to take a third base until you get ling speed so the only reason to just spine and drone would be to do a big 2 base push imo.

I'm not sure how you're opening but the answer is almost definitely yes. Unless you open completely gasless you should have 100 gas in time to start ling speed after his first 2 rax push fails (I mean this is by far the hardest part of the rush, if you can hold this cleanly there is no reason you should lose to a follow up). Once you hold it/get a spine up etc, send a forward ling around the map to find the rax and keep a look out for more marines... If he flies home, take a 3rd and drone up (still get zergling speed though), if he's derp-making marines, make another set of queens and make nothing but lings and laugh in his face when speed finishes.

Not taking gas at all is standard vs 2 rax, but you should try to get it immediately after to hold follow ups, take map control and other reasons. Alternative is mass queening. Both viable, both used at pro level many times as follow ups. Queen style much less popular now than it used to be though.

I scout on 13 on 2 player maps, don't scout on 4 player. Usually go 15h 15g 15p. If I scout cc first or no rax in main I'll cancel gas and either take a third or pull a drones to prevent bunkering. So yeah I don't have gas facing 2 rax play.

Not really but I think ling speed is better almost always. Going queens is greedier imo. At low levels going speed should always be fine, you should destroy their follow up push 100%.

Overgrowth: looks like it's an easy third for Protoss (wall off the outside path with gateways + cannon, lol at Zerg) so terrible map, also gonna be super easy for Protoss to feint towards Z natural then just put up a wall of forcefields kill the third and recall home
Merry Go Round: somehow doesn't look terrible despite being 3 players, though your 3rd appears a bit exposed if other player spawns counterclockwise
Waystation: total joke map with the bottom left/upper right spawns if Terran is playing, float a quick CC over for a free base, are you ****ing kidding? Other than that looks alright
