Are you sure it's not still on 360p? When you change it says "changing quality" for forever, maybe it didn't kick in yet before you gave up?

State-Scarlett series was good. Scarlett holding off against THE POWER OF PROTOSS. I've watched State's stream briefly (even if he is a dirty Protoss) since it takes some balls for him to go to Korea and probably never win another dollar playing SC2, he does soooo many two base all-ins.

Remaining games are Desrow-Drunkenboi with winner playing State, who cares. The main event is definitely Group C on Thursday, where we get to watch players who actually kind of have a clue (by American standards, anyway) completely **** on Avilo.

just played a 2v2 as random, draw zerg vs TP, they go mech and skytoss, my partner is beyond useless. i think at one point he had 10 clumped dts as his army.

is there ANY way to win vs that? i never knew how fast zerg units died until today.... opened mutas when all i saw was a lot of wasted hellions into 1 spine and 2 queens, killed a lot of scvs, killed some thors, then roach hydra when they had static D everywhere.

im assuming its a lost cause, but wow was that annoying.

loool 180 workers created and i didnt have >72 at the end. replay prob doesnt matter cause it was a random custom, guess i lost too many mutas for free at one point

So your question is, is there any way to win 1v2? Not really, unless you're insanely better than your opponents.

I've played some 2v2s with orange lately and it turns out Protoss kinda blows in 2v2 in the early game before they have much of an army, so there's that. We played these guys who were TZ two games in a row; first game we were caught a bit off-guard by a 14/14 speedling + mass hellion rush. 2nd game, we're expecting it, we scout exactly the same build (the T is so greedy he doesn't even wall off), I forget if I did 10 pool speed or a 14/14 of my own - but, my speedlings do almost nothing vs T before the hellions are out to deal with them, and the stalkers orange can get out by that point are nowhere near enough to deal with their all-in. Seems pretty unexploitable. 2v2 just really isn't balanced.

when i ladder with my friend its fun except hes terrible at macro and thinks stalker collosus is the answer to anything. pretty sure mech is best approach to macro as t on limited bases, but he doesnt know what to make to help

customs 2v2, yeah most people can win 2v1, its that bad usually.

2v2 is ******ed. I was watching some top 5 2v2 team and every single game they would just 10p + cannon rush, or 10p 4 gate and win.

It's just incredibly unbalanced what you can do with a cannon rush + an overlord on the ******ed team maps.

Once you get to mid-high masters in 2v2's and 3v3's you'll see 95% of people just do some sort of mass speedling + hellion all in, or some form of cannon rush or 4 gate. It gets really old at the high levels.

Stalker colossus is the answer to everything, though

So is Blizzard ever gonna admit the swarm host was a moronic unit design and fix it, or are they just gonna keep dancing around it by trying to buff/nerf everything on the periphery?

It's definitely one of my least favorite units... Absolute least being the protoss.

I wonder how many people even like the swarm host? Sign me up as a second Zerg in a row who think it sucks. Not because it isn't strong - it crushes gateway armies and is useful (at least in my bad kid league) against attempted widow mine sieges - but because it's so ****ing boring and makes games terrible.

But, say you delete it. Okay, now what does Zerg do against mech? I need to go re-watch Life vs. MVP to remember how people did it back in the day. (although there were no hellbats back then either)

IRT Mech just roach drop all in every game, problem solved (kind of).

Even more generally, just play a super aggressive midgame against mech. Actually, just do this in every matchup lol. Zerg is by far the strongest midgame race, you should be taking advantage of that.

But Protoss. You need to stream again so I remember how to play well. I remember when you'd go muta every game in WoL and I'd be like HOW ARE YOU DOING THIS I ONLY KNOW BROFESTORS

Right now, I'm hardly watching any SC2 at all and that's usually where my motivation to actually play the game comes from. I try to turn on someone's stream and just close it after 5 minutes because I'm bored lol. Even the latest patch talks bore me because they're completely irrelevant to my play. Maybe once WCS starts I'll find my passion.

Edit: Ironically as I write this post I'm watching Artosis play Starbow.
