Of course he's probably terrible at poker, I doubt he's ever played it seriously. That doesn't mean he can't become a winning player, and I think he will if he takes it as seriously as he took pro-gaming. I don't think he's ever gonna be the next Elky, but he'll do fine if that's what he's actually going to do. It seems more akin to an endorsement deal to me.

Getting paid money to be a sponsor is fine, but I think the guy who posted it (in NVG) either said himself or the article said he is going to be a pro poker player, which I take to mean your sole income is from poker. And obv depends on limits/games one can win without to much trying even in this day and age.

The article says he's going to be a professional player, but I'll believe it when I see it. Getting paid to endorse the site and maybe show up at a couple live tournaments wearing their patch doesn't make you a pro player.

doesnt seem too hard to believe he could make a fair bit from the sponsorship on its own. if he got a deal like site affiliates do, he could easily make 50k+ bringing in a whole new wave of players. 100% rakeback, small monthly salary, good start if he can get to/is breakeven for now

So I guess scouting's kinda good. Popped an overlord into P base at 6:00, just in time to see him throw down double stargate. I'm like cool, looks like I won't be attacked for a bit, take 6 gases, get fast-ish lair, load up on hydras as soon as humanly possible. Ling at third to see if he expands (he doesn't), so I stay defensive and he eventually attacks with a bunch of zealots and voids, zealots get annihilated before he recalls with the voids. He tries to expand behind it so I take a 4th, max out, and go attack; I kill a lot of army + some infrastructure while remaxing on hydras at home as he cleans me up in his base. He tries to counter but my hydras pop well in time and his voids all die.

This game is really easy sometimes, which makes it hurt all the more in the games where I make it so hard on myself.

Pretty sure I have a lifetime 0% winrate vs 2rax. Never in history have I stopped the bunkers from getting up. It's ****ing impossible. I even scouted a SCV going off to the side in time to go 15 pool instead of 15 hatch and the lings still weren't even close.

ok, kill first 2 scvs pretty quick, i think having all drones targeting 1 scv is too much, esp with the other bunker. killing that is way more important than killing the marine. would also think you just went too soon with 6 lings. obv they arent breaking a bunker. if you see 2 rax shouldnt you camp your overlord over their ramp? depot in the back sounds like hes gonna lose to a runby and you just sack your nat?

Going w/ the 6 lings was just a last ditch thing before I quit the game, I considered it over as soon as bunker #2 got up and marines got inside. Ling runby is an ok idea but ideally I'd like to figure out how to hold my natural.

Use drones carefully, build spines. It's all about stopping it and losing as little as possible with micro. Tbh I don't understand how you can be 0% I am at least 50% when cancelling my hatch and going one base baneling.....
