16:00 he moves out and we engage, I kill all his colossi (4-5) and most of his army, 190-120 in supply after this
16:20 I push towards his natural but he FFs the ramp (yeonsu) and I pull back as he also has reinforcement stalkers coming

This is probably where I made the most mistakes, his army at this point is 2 immos 15 stalkers 2 sentries. I could have pushed towards the 3rd (would have had to knock down rocks or gone around the side, he took the high ground one), maybe split my army so he can't FF me out of everywhere at once*. At this point he goes into full immortal production though and my army only gets worse and worse and worse vs his. He eventually gets up a 4th and a 5th, though I denied them for a long time (and did kill his 3rd once with a roach runby), but eventually his army gets too strong for me to kill. I tried a BL transition but I never got an overwhelming number of them at once and he always had enough stalkers to blink forward and kill them. My ground army was never that effective as it got blanketed in storms.

*eta: though I always hear Artosis saying "if you're ahead, get more ahead". perhaps the problem is that that plan only works if you aren't terrible and know how to actually "get more ahead"? like I tried to tech, get upgrades (started off behind on them), make the BL transition but obv it wasn't good enough.

get your first timings right. both your first hatch and pool timings are off. this isn't hard to correct.

getting supply blocked at 44/44 is really bad. this is one of those things where you just need to practice and it'll become second nature to build OLs when you are at certain supplies.

it's 730. you have vision of two gasses at the natural, and that he had a mothership core. that's it. your overlord parked outside his main is to scout- use it! your tech timing is very late. you need SOMETHING going by 8 minutes...be it a roach warren, evos, or a lair.

omg you have so much money. ****ing spend it. this is probably why you lost.

injects are important. you have no larvae and 4k/1.5k.

at 19 minutes, you need to either be teching or forcing stuff with mutas. staying on roach tech (even with 2/2 is bad bad).

your decision to make MORE roaches instead of mutas (of which you could have made 30) after attacking at ~20 min and seeing an immortal/HT army basically cost you a free win.

23 min- protoss has 4 bases, and yet you haven't expanded? also this is a personal choice, but i prefer more than 69 drones.

28 min- you have 5k gas vs colossus/stalker/immortal, but you choose to make 26 roaches instead of mutas?!?!!?

WTF 30 min you have MORE money and you choose to remax on roach hydra??

work on your mechanics
don't make roaches once protoss has a robotics bay

I just played a couple games w/ bsball on Alterzim, definitely vetoing it when the new season starts tomorrow. It's way too big, there are like 20 bases, every race gets 3 really easy bases, no watchtowers combined w/ the size means it's impossible to ever have very good map vision, gl ever finding proxy plons/etc. Just awful.

obvious solution? log on and play some 1v1.

i used unranked matchmaking and got matched vs a plat zerg player.

dunno why it's only showing up in 360p, but i recorded it for goofy.

Very weird game. My 3rd was denied for forever, I was on the verge of having my 3rd broken multiple times (which would have basically ended the game), I got up to 4 bases and could never take/hold a 5th, and somehow won against his 5-6 bases?

he missed a few times to just a move over you.

also think mines vs swarm hosts is what cost him the game. tanks so much better. also never really went for big army swings when you lose so much of your mobility. free units too strong

This happens to me too when I play, it's very frustrating. Esp considering that I take time to stretch out my hands and I make sure that I elevate my wrist when I play.

elevating your wrists is bad for them tho

What I mean is that I put something between my wrist and the table so it's not resting on the table or my hard mouse pad. Is that bad?

EDIT: Yea, after some quick research, you should not rest your wrist on the table, you should be able to run a piece of paper under it at least. I'm not using like a 1" rest or anything, I'm just trying to avoid surface pressure.

you just want a straight line from your elbow to hands. something to stop chafing or w.e is prob fine. noticable extra height is bad tho

What maps do you guys have vetoed? My only veto is Frost currently. I just hate it and suck on it. But I don't know which maps are inherently good or bad for terran (or any of the other races)

- Akilon, worst zerg map ever, T can drop you endlessly and zoom between your bases, P can prob go 2 nexus before gate and you can't touch them once they build their first sentry
- Bel'Shir Vestige, pretty hard 3rd to take
- Had Yeonsu vetoed for awhile, recently removed it cause I guess it seems fun although the 3rd seems really hard to hold against Protoss gateway expands that do pressure
- def vetoing Alterzim this season for the reasons I outlined in an earlier post
