I think I just had my worst snatch defeat from the jaws of victory game ever.
TvZ Xelnaga I open MMM drop.
Check out these numbers at the 10:30 mark
Bases: 1 v 2 him
harvesters 30 v 21 me
army 62/67 v 40/72 me
army resources 1800 v 600 me
Units Lost 8/475 vs 34/1325 me
and I lost.
lesson to be learned, no matter how far up you think you are on zerg, keep pressing, do not let them sit and macro

brag: just passed psystarcraft in my ladder division.
beat: his bonus pool is over 600 :/
variance: the top guy in my division doesn't seem to be a cheeser. 3300 pt toss with 20/18/13/17/10 minute game times in his last few games.
further variance: went from 2475->2368->2517 pts over the course of three days.

I am currently in an epic TvP. We've mined out every mineral on the map and it seems like neither of us can win. I have 1 BC and 10 SCVs. He has a handful of HTs, probes and zealots. I think if I wait a few hours for him to go AFK i can destroy all his buildings with my BC...

yeah if i tried to kill him now I would, hence the waiting until he goes AFK part, lulz. He has nothing that can attack my floating buildings so he has no way of winning. My biggest concern is killing the few cannons he has scattered around.

Steven aka Destiny runs into VTspades in a ladder game, he loses, quits without saying gg. VTspades calls him out on it, now they are doing a grudge match best of 7 for $100. Both are streaming are on teamliquid.

well if the map is mined out and their both broke, terran is guaranteed at least a tie since the protoss will not be able to destroy the floating buildings.

We worked it out ahead of time. I did a 3, 2, 1 countdown and we both said what we were going to throw at the same time. He went rock and I went paper. I am a RPS pro obv

I wouldn't have agreed to that, I would have just stayed in the game as long as it took. Vs a random anyway. But I'm super petty.

Also, the "manner" thing is pretty stupid imo. I don't say anything ever in ladder games. It's fine if you're playing with friends or whatever, but I can honestly say I don't wish a random good luck and I don't give a **** if it's a good game. I just want to win.

When I first started playing SC2 during the beta I thought "gl hf" was the proper thing..."Oh I'm so awesome, I'm playing SC2!!!!!1!!"

Now I don't even say it unless the other person says it first. And I won't say "gg" unless it truly was. If someone cheeses me, **** them. If they turtle in and mass VRs, **** them. I don't say "gg" out of respect for the game. I say it only if I mean it.

The "game" really only lasted like an hour. The 2nd hour was just us chatting and playing with our units and stuff before finally deciding to RPS for it.

I kind of like larger than life, cocky personalities in competitive sports.

I mean being humble isn't bad, but I wish there were a few guys that would just be like: Yea, I'm the best I'm supposed to win.

It just doesn't happen. You have two scenarios. A guy is overly humble to the point where you know it's fake and he's just saying it because he feels he has to. Or he's caught somewhere in the middle. Like LeBron. One day he's saying, yea, Milwaukee is a good team, it's gonna be a challenge for us. And yet he'll wear that ridiculous LBJMVP shirt in public.

I don't think you can stack BCs like you can vikings. I'm not sure though. EMPing them before the fight would have been a good idea though, it never occurred to me.
