Apparently this is like 3 weeks old but I never saw it reported anywhere: FXO is losing their sponsor (the company FXO), will change their name back to fOu (for our utopia).
Today's episode of REAL LADDER GAMES with goofyballer
Opponent is Toss, goes gateway expand into 4gate pressure with zealots. I take a late expansion (after 4 queens) and hold it easily, then counterattack with lings, kill 3 sentries that are out in the middle of nowhere trying to kill my overlord, then run in his main past his faulty wall (it's amazing what some idiots think passes for a wall, diagonal corners won't cut it bro) and kill 12 workers and a bunch more zealots. He takes the protected 3rd on Polar Night, I can't do much about it cause lolprotoss so I go up to 5 bases, and am well ahead by basically any measure.
I then lose every engagement for the next 20 minutes, because what's roach-hydra gonna do, win a fight vs colossi? I get some corruptors out but they can never kill the colossi before the rest of my ground army dies, I get some swarm hosts to try to keep him back cause he's constantly picking off bases.
Finally, at about the 30:00 mark, I decide to try ultras and they tank enough damage in the front while hydras go to work in the back against an inexplicable tempest switch (I didn't have brood lords, so, uh, thanks?) and I finally take a fight and he leaves.
All this for a game where he opened with a heavy 2 base attack that failed about as hard as possible.
Completely OT, but i just put twoplustwo in a search bar on someone's iPad and clicked on "forums.twoplustwo.com" and I was like oh really? you don't have to type in forum server? because it appeared to be the proper website, but then after entering my username and password it gave me some error box. I immediately realized that this might be a phishing website. did i panic for no reason? i already changed my pw... gonna pm some mods and report back
edit: or is there no way when the main url is twoplustwo?

I hate Protoss so much.
You lost because you did not make mutas vs robo. So bad.
I actually did make a pack of mutas (though I didn't go full base-trade mutas, is that what I'm supposed to do?) and harassed with them for a bit, but he eventually got stalkers and cannons everywhere and later some archons too. On a limited gas budget I felt like getting too many of them would prevent me from being able to get units that would kill his army. I won the game btw (though I probably shouldn't have, he made lots of bad decisions).
It's not like mutas vs robo is like super common automatic, right? Otherwise why would people ever make corruptors vs colossi?
ETA: LOL, speaking of bad decisions (or just being terrible), I went back and watched the replay cause your post gave me a sneaking suspicion...and yeah, I had 10 mutas for THE ENTIRE GAME that I basically forgot about circa the 18 minute mark, eating up 20 supply and doing nothing. fml.
what kinda limited gas budget is there on 5 base? =O
played a whole 2 (!) games tonight, vZ where i decide to send my reaper back in before hellions are out, he has roaches "hidden" in the nook behind his nat ramp, cancel 2nd pair of hellions for mines, 2 extra bunkers, 3rd cc --> more rax, etc. he pokes with lings, they blow up, pokes with like 7 roaches and turns around almost immediately. quick 100 supply or so, push with stim/medivacs. he leaves shortly after.
play a tvt on frost? where i actually scv scout for some reason, usually just 2 reapers get it done, see hes hiding a factory, defend hellion drop, get quite ahead in army; til maybe 12 minutes i think he had only marines. deny 3rd, take my 4th and 5th, contain til i make bcs, get a little oop, lose my main army, but hes been dead for 10 mins, he pushes into rally of ~10 rax, 4 facts, 5 starports. gg.
idk how i used to lose tvt in gold, these have been soooo easy.
in other news; what does the "leave ladder" button do if you view your ladder position?
I don't know if it's the same thing, but some korean terran vs stephano mine blow up thing was the best. I'm guessing we're talking about the same one.
