Played one game tonight, first in absolutely ages. Played a terran who has been Diamond 10 times (lol MMR decay). I facerolled despite absolutely no micro and generally playing like a complete tard, messing up my build, macro sucked, everything! I kept forgetting to build muta's then I miscontrolled them. Goofy what's your excuse!

we had a kitten for about 2 months, sadly she got very sick. but she would always jump on my keyboard in the middle of games. that'll be my excuse for why i was in bronze for like a full month

i started out 6-0 tonight

dominated all parts of the game. then started getting tired, started doing dumb ****

lost to a 4gate that I only half-scouted, was about to drop units when it showed up, whoops, insta-loss. Then I had an army that would crush the toss army but I looked away while i was moving across the map and the toss snuck up from the side and stormed me like a dozen times. jesus christ pay attention. Oh well 6-2 aint bad, using up my bonus pool at least

we've had 2 cats before, first was a literal beast. triple digit bird/squirrel kills im sure. 2 raccoons, 1 opossum. nearly died after it was stuck in a bear trap for EIGHT days. other one was complete opposite. he enjoyed being carried around chasing butterflies/tinsel at christmas time. it was technically my sisters cat, so she took him when she moved out. now i live alone 90% of the year, and this little guy came up out of the blue, so i was helpless once i saw him.

we had a rottweiler that got "sick" at like 2 years old. still the best dog ever. definitely ideal for a house with a 6, 7, and 8 year old in it, dads "surprise" at the time. he didnt live there. first attempt was a bmw. what not to do when you separate.

back OT, if i read this right, you lost to a 4gate with medivacs out/on the other side of the map? pretty sure you should never lose to a 4gate after 8 minutes, even if you dont know where they are on a 4p map.

2nd one, dont worry, its 10x more tilting when you are at triple the apm and still cant stop it.

sounds like a dece night. whats your w/l? for me, bronze/gold took way longer than silver, and i gave up around top 8 plat. life was too fun back then.

saying i should never lose to something doesn't mean much dawg, i suck. my thought process was entirely, "hey maybe i'll go for super-fast medivac and drop this dude, that'll be fun" ...whoops. idk if it was a 4gate or if it was just a **** ton of early gateway units off like 1.5 bases or something but whatever, semantics. i barely scouted and paid for it.

this season im 37-32 i think

started out 19-7 then stopped playing regularly. was 0-6 last night lol. but ive heard that silver is now the hardest to get out of mostly because (and im probably explaining this wrong but oh well) if your mmr decays all the way down due to lack of play or whatever, silver is the most common placement so more than any other league silver has some people who are actually better than their league would indicate. Plus smurfs and whatever. Heard that while watching someone stream once anyway. But in my experience that seems kinda true, I keep running into ex-plats and such who are now going like 24-6 in silver.

Not tonight though I only played silvers and golds tonight

hmm idk. i didnt get hots for like 2 months after it came out cause i barely played at that time. didnt ladder wol obv. went 1-4 in placements cause i asked each one to lmk before they quit so i could get bronze (1 kid snap quit a game.. ups) and i was roughly 4-0 to get out of bronze, playing terran. got bored, think went 9-2 as toss in silver and got promoted.

GAME LOG

L: terran puts bunker in my natural, perfectly placed so that SCV is chilling and repairing protected by mineral patches where lings/drones can't get to, I quit before any units arrive
L: protoss pylon blocks, I leave
L: proxy rax bunker rush on 4 player map, I should have known based on the scout showing up at my base at like 13 supply something was wrong but didn't
W: 2 base roach vs T clown who's making a 3rd CC and discovers reapers and hellions aren't good against roaches
W: bad protoss opens stargate, initial phoenixes do nothing, he has no army to defend when I attack with roach-hydra
W: out-macroed gold Z who tried to go roach-hydra on 2 bases by going roach only

That felt awkward writing it - he tried to go roach hydra on 2 bases, I was going 100% roaches, I had a macro advantage both from killing 2 overlords in the super early game (lol) and not investing a bunch of gas into hydras (he didn't have them out fast enough to be useful so I had moar roaches).

W: Finally did the 2 base roach into expand build correctly, he was getting banshees out so my roaches had a timer on them but I expanded behind the attack, killed lots of scvs and production, transitioned into roach hydra, killed his 3rd outright with a quick attack from hydras, he tried to doom drop and it went very poorly for him.
W: Somehow win against a gateway expand, he was gold tho and I still played pretty badly
L: long macro game vP, colossus deathball too strong, lose many ultra hydra armies to it and eventually die. I should try to remember things like "vipers exist" and "brood lords exist" (the one thing he didn't have was any stargate units so that would have been good :/)
W: CRUSHED a Terran with 2 base roach expand, he was heavy on widow mines and I didn't make an overseer (stupid me) but I did lots of damage at natural, expanded, got up to 2/2 maxed roach hydra, attacked, killed 2 CCs, he tried to counter all-in but I was still maxed and he had hardly anything left

Oh btw I had a guy go hellion-battle cruiser against me.

Easily the weirdest comp I've ever seen. It was as terrible as it sounds
