1 base weird strats that no one has seen before are way more fun. Who didn't like watching MC vs July? Tension the entire series and MC's forcefields literally could not have been better.

Even as a player it was better. That cross map helion drop on scrap station, the void ray pylon charge up, marine ghost all in, 8 rax, there were some super fun builds that over the course of time just died out to stupid macro builds. I don't want to Nexus first every game, where's the fun in that.

When MKP first split marines against banelings was pretty sick too, I would have never even thought it was possible the way he did it.

Wait, was there a point in time when Terrans were like AAAH BANELINGS and ran away in fear of them, and then in one game MarineKing stood tall and split his marines and let the banes hit but they did no damage and everyone was like ZOMG with their jaws on the ground like "YOU CAN DO THAT?!?!?!?" and in one single move he revolutionized TvZ forever?!?

That's pretty much exactly what happened. Except people weren't going marine tank until they learned to do it.

the default counter to baneling was to go marine marauder and hotkey them separately and run your marines and have the marauders tank. then foxer shows up in GSL 2 and pwns GSL 1 champ fruitdealer. with marines.

Yeah the first time I saw the marine split stuff I remember being pretty shocked. The 1 base cheeses were always pretty epic. Remember Thor drops on the high ground to siege the natural on lost temple? Or the 5 slayers terrans that rolled through MLG with the low ground blue flame hellion + marine elevator into the main? Then obviously all the tank cheese on kulas ravine and delta quadrant. 5 rax reapers. Lol good times.

I just remembered the mass scv repair thing too where units never prioritized scvs. Thors and BCs were so big you could hide or surround the unit with scvs and make them unkillable.

GSL Season 1 was ridiculously entertaining, it was awesome.

Fav gslmoment, was a big tester fan as he was a beast in the beta and he was the first Korean I watched play.

A funnny thing is when thinking back how I played, I made it to Top 200 Diamond in Europe in Season 1 (There was only Diamond back then) and didn`t use sentries. I literally never build sentries, only like 1 in the beginning. At one point I was like(A Season later) "Damn these things are good".

Short cliffs: TB family being TB family.

Long cliffs: Axiom has to pay for flights to get to finals of that thing, but doesn't want to. Negotiations between Take and Axiom take place, for some reason Genna gets really pissed and outs a bunch of **** about what is happening internally. Take is superpissed and threatens with legal action. Genna goes emo and leaves esports.
People are confused whose side to take since stories being told are very contrasting, TB goes on a "community sucks holy ****" rampage and people realise TB family is prolly being TB family and side with Take.

I watch pretty much everything TB does while grinding for some distraction and it is so weird how he is so rational in all his youtube videos but then every few weeks he goes crazy on twitter/reddit/TL. He actually talked about it on Polaris Podcast a while ago (yes I watch that ) and he fully acknowledges how stupid irrational and counterproductive it is yet... he does it anyway? Guess he's the internet personality version of a degenerate poker player .
