basic mechanics how do they work

i<3 does that make them still rally out if the nth unit dies? if im rallying that aggro i'll usually just keep the rally point near my army, move forward and backwards accordingly cause thats much easier than having 20 supply sitting at the rax cause the unit had died

didnt watch yet schu, but for scvs building, you can just box the whole structure (or just wherever the scv is) and it will select the scv first, then click a spot for it to go after its done.

but if you want to rally before starting to build you have to shift click

What did I do wrong here? I tried the ling/hydra/corruptor style that DRG used in yesterday's up/down matches. I watched the replay and I was at 200/200 and 75 drones while he was at ~125 supply and yet I "lost" the battle. My macro was pretty darn good the entire game up until this point in my opinion. The game went on for a while longer, but I can't help feeling that me not killing him there led to me losing the game. I got a hive and ultra cavern...which I ended up not using.

The muta switch (and subsequent eating of multiple storms) was probably a poor decision, but I don't think I was going to win the game at that point anyway. I'm curious about that one particular engagement- do I need more corruptors? More lings? I had 2/2 on my lings and 0/2 on my hydras vs I believe 2/1 on his ground units...

clarified: i had 188 supply vs 136. I had 2/2 and he had 1/0 at the time the battle occurred.

idk how DRG used that comp, but looking at the engagement...after corruptors kill his one colossus, that's 20 dead supply. The lings all die very quickly so they're gone (you didn't have that many of them to begin with so not much of a swarming effect there), leaving basically even supply of hydras versus zealot/sentry/stalker + an immortal, which is not at all what you want. Plus you let his second colossus live with like 1hp - corruptors are really ****ing tanky, you can stick around with them and focus the colossus down before leaving with them.

Use corruption on his high-value units (archons, immos) so they can at least do something once the colossi die.

My experience with hydras has been that they're good for midgame timings, not good vs Toss deathball. Ultras, on the other hand, ****ing laugh at any composition that doesn't include lots of immortals, so you should make some of those.

It's basically a free win if detected too late. CatZ pioneered it and won several times vs high grandmaster players using it in WoL

Indeed, it was a free win. And the gentleman who did this build opened up chat after I left the game kindly told me to uninstall the game afterwards. What a guy!

did he put it in your main or at your nat? pretty sure if its over half done or so in your main you are gonna die when queen/lings/spine/lolroaches come out

at your nat is tough cause spines gonna kill your wall basically always. gotta get up to tanks quickly and hold off all the lings that'll be running in constantly

I've started doing hatch at natural when I scout high ground CC first but am bad at turning it into a big advantage, even when I get a queen out and a couple spines.

without having 3 or more rax, pretty sure constant queen/ling production will at least push t way back into their base. spreading creep in their main and pushing spines should always do pretty huge damage

It was at the far end of my main. I didn't catch it in time and it was bad news bears. I even saw the drone come in but that was right as I was scouting as well, so I went to check my scout and forgot about the drone. Like 40 seconds later I was like wait where did that drone go? OH ****
