And on this topic I have a total generic keyboard but a rly good mouse. I think the mouse matters way more than the keyboard.

I just went to breast buy and bought one that i liked...I bought a mouse too, but the one I have is better, so i think ill return this one.

what mouse is it? my deathadder broke 2 days ago (loose cord) and its too late to rma it again. g500 has the same problem but its at my dads house and im lazy.

using my oooold mx518 atm, been used for like 5 years now and still so solid, but it feels too small. debating just getting the black deathadder or trying something new.

also never bothered with a mechanical keyboard but arent they the nuts? before i got my laptop i had the original saitek eclipse which was awesome + backlighting was a must have for me

what so good about mechanical keyboards? and are good mice really worth it. ive only ever used basic stuff that comes when u buy pc

i like mechanical keyboards because i never press the wrong keys and there's a very distinctive feeling they make when you've pressed the key, so you know what you've done.

Mechanical keyboards register commands before they are pushed all the way down so they are generally faster and more responsive. It's a moot point for most people but when you are playing video games where you are tapping buttons all the time you should notice it. Mice are more about precision and accuracy and overall comfort.

only thing thats nice about getting an above standard keyboard is being able to hit multiple buttons at the same time. pretty sure a standard keyboard will register 4 keys per "zone" at a time, i believe 1/3 of the keyboard is a zone. others are 6+. not something you really have a problem with, but several times before i had noted additional keys didnt respond

never felt like spending $200 for a nice mechanical tho. something red or oak in the name

it's a pretty large mouse. definitely the biggest that i've used in a while. i have relatively small hands so it fills it up pretty well. i like it a lot though. it never skips or lags even occasionally- which most of the other mice i've owned have done from time to time. i definitely recommend it.

alright convincing enough. never had tracking errors with any of mine (mx518, g500, deathadder) either but something new is good

I'm sure I will someday. A coworker recently suggested playing at lunch sometime (though we're way too busy for the next month or two to do that) where we have regular mice.

fwiw, a couple ZvTs I streamed tonight, with infestor comp:

- I do pretty well vs biomine, villain was unranked playing random though and I suspect T isn't his main cause he wasn't that great at it
- Ugly game vs biomine where I do lots of typical goofyballer stuff, don't engage great most of the time, but does feature proxy hatch in his natural vs CC first with lots of lulz! Part 1 - part 2 (I guess stream cut out at some point)

I guess you can tell me if my mouse control looks super derptastic or something.
