I definitely have the problem of trying to get tumors radiating out in all directions without really thinking about where the creep is going, so on maps like Whirlwind I don't particularly get it out all that far by the end of the game (maybe the center watchtower with about an equal radius from my base in other directions). My initial reaction is that thinking about it more in terms of this:



would be a positive change.

I also like his suggestion to be like "**** it, put tumors on every single tile in important areas and drive your opponent crazy". Although that would not jive well with using static defense in those areas.

Do you build splash damage into your typical army comp?

Alternatively, I think an ok method of "splitting" in silver is to just ctrl+click a marine and move them all back while your marauders take the damage from banes in an engagement.

i always try to add tanks to my MMM so i had like 3 of those, when i knew what was coming i threw down another factory and tried to continue to spit out tanks and hellions, but it was too late. I also put too much money into medivacs early, i had like 5 or 6 when i only should have had 2 or 3. And really i was mostly fine until one last push got by my out-of-position army, killed all of my bio, and knocked out like 3/4ths of my workers at both the main and natural. when i finally held that off he had produced enough lings to take out my 3rd. I actually had a supply lead until that, all of a sudden I lose my army and my entire economy and gg.

just looked up the widow mine splash damage. Um...wow, next time I'm building those.

Yeah, they one shot lings and banes in their splash area, they're a ****ing bull**** unit. You'll be a better player if you learn to win without them, just like you would have had to in WoL.

Once you upload it a link to the game will pop up in the lower left, which you can paste here.

There's also an option you prob want to set in-game - by default it will only keep the last 20 or so replays, there's no real reason why you shouldn't want to save all of them forever.

Kinda want to see if I can get diamond. I beat a diamond Terran today in a long macro game without even using old-school winfestors (haven't really been using them at all). Used to be my worst matchup in WoL, but now that I'm used to playing against widow mines this **** is ez mode.

The game was pretty funny, it ended when he had one base left (I had like 3 bases but only one barely mining) at the 5th base position with his army trying to defend it from muta harass; eventually he gives up on mining, lifts his CC, and brings his army to try to attack me. Noticing his army showing up on creep on the minimap I track down the CC with my mutas which was trying to follow his army but well behind due to its speed, snipe it down, then turn around as he stims his army and frantically runs back and take out the last 2 depots on the map for the auto-win.
